Not tenka or whp. They both was under SS2 in entries and that’s why I took them off. Tenka only had 3-4 people sign up for months!!

so you want people to put in the same amount for a game they do not know much about on a competitive level as they would any of the top 5 Games that will be held at FR???

I don’t remember anyone having these issues when the newer version of Smash came out and started at around $5.00.

What’s the difference between competitive SF4 and competitive TvC? Only a couple states had SF4. . . TVC was released to everyone at the exact same time. And it’ll be what … 4 months ?

Potential players? $5 will drive away the competitive players. Being this is a tournament, you want the competitive players to join. I know even if I joined $5 TVC, I and some other top players wouldn’t be taking it seriously, so the “competitive level” won’t even be anywhere around the level it’d be if it was $10. I join $5 tournaments knowing everyone but like 1-2 people in there are scrubs.

I feel you on the major snk games. I was mad at myself for cutting the snk games, but it had to be done. My main concern is people playing in too many tournaments at one time holding up other bigger tournaments.

Of course, and that’s understandable. I realize that SNK stuff will never be the main event over stuff like SF4, GG, 3rd, etc. and the main events should always be the priority.
I was running the RB2 and SamSho Tenka tournies last year, and the tournaments went by smooth until the finals when Buktooth had to finish Tenka quickly to start the CvS2 finals, and then I had to wait for CvS2 to finish for Steve Harrison to finish RB2. But everything worked out in the end.

NGBC didn’t have any interest sir. RBS had more people sign up than that game.

That’s because NGBC was never listed as an official game this year…
NGBC has been at FR for the past 3 years, and still had over 20 people last year if I recall, and the most of any SNK game there. I know the game has a lot of support (for an SNK game) in Georgia and NC too.

I wish kof2k2 remix would be out during Final Round. I would add that game in a heart beat since it’s a new game persay.

It’s actually scheduled for release on Feb 26th this year, but knowing SNK it’s probably going to be delayed for no good reason. :looney:

Our SNK list that remains have the biggest interest so far for fr12. That’s what they stayed and the rest had to go. Now I might add 1 more snk tournament back to friday since it will be the slow day, but that depends on how fast kof98um and rb2 is finished.

RB2 and NGBC are quick as greased diarrhea but KOF 98 UM takes as long as a CvS2 ranking battle in a retirement home. WHP and KOF XI are pretty quick too…
