Nah, I was stoned that night. Honest. However, for the A3 tourney, I was pretty tired cause I was watching CvS2 and that game is ‘zzzzzzzzzzzzzz’. I’m hella hype for SF4, though. So no sleep for me.
What happened to WHP?
I had to cut the fat do too no interest in playing the game. I even cut rbs, because there wasn’t enough people to run it imo. I can’t waste my time on small tournaments during a major. I was willing to give them a chance, but if more people didn’t want to support them they had to go.
:sad: Also with all of these new games they deserve to get in FR12. I also looked back and saw that I might have put too many games down for fr12.

Holy shit, I just realized this is at the start of my spring break and I therefore can actually go to this. Now the question is if I can afford it.
Well SS2 is the only sam showdown we are having at FR12 and since there was 2 real bouts I cut out the 1 with the less # of entries.:wonder:

Seeing as FR is basically the biggest SNK tournament of the year, could we at least have NGBC again?
NGBC is dominated by the South, and was the biggest SNK tournament last year.
It’d also be a shame if Tenka wasn’t there, either. Last year’s Tenka tournament is what inspired me to train solidly in that game for a good 2 months.
I don’t know, just running some thoughts by you. Since Dark Geese doesn’t seem interested in showing up :bluu: it’ll be up to guys like me to step up and run the SNK shit. I know there’s a ton of games already and new stuff that deserves a spot, but the SNK stuff usually draws a small but solid crowd and it’d be a shame if at least most of the main SNK games (KOF 98 UM, NGBC, KOF XI, MOTW, and Tenka are the big 5) don’t get run.
Maybe Friday can be “SNK night” since the only big game that day is CvS2 (I highly doubt almost anyone who plays SNK is going to enter Melee).
Some people from nyc said they found plane tix’s for non stop to the ATL for 79.99 one way. You can’t beat that deal imo!:looney:

I feel you on the major snk games. I was mad at myself for cutting the snk games, but it had to be done. My main concern is people playing in too many tournaments at one time holding up other bigger tournaments. NGBC didn’t have any interest sir. RBS had more people sign up than that game. I wish kof2k2 remix would be out during Final Round. I would add that game in a heart beat since it’s a new game persay. Our SNK list that remains have the biggest interest so far for fr12. That’s what they stayed and the rest had to go. Now I might add 1 more snk tournament back to friday since it will be the slow day, but that depends on how fast kof98um and rb2 is finished.
:lol: It has gain speed since the release on xbox live. And it’s thought to be the best one out of the series. I won’t earse all of snk games out of FR12. This is still the snk majors of the usa.:wgrin:

The game just came out… most people attending it at Final Round will be playing it on a tournament level possibly for the 1st or 2nd time.

so you want people to put in the same amount for a game they do not know much about on a competitive level as they would any of the top 5 Games that will be held at FR???
I don’t remember anyone having these issues when the newer version of Smash came out and started at around $5.00.
Don’t you think $10.00 bucks will drive away more “potential” players??
