its been on PS2 forever. everyone has a copy of ps2 cvs2 and is used to it…
you had better decide quick on a format for cvs2 because i’m pretty sure about 90% of the cvs2 players coming are not used to the DC version and don’t have DC converters for their PS2 sticks…including myself…i honestly didn’t even see that this is being run on dreamcast but this is just nuts to me…
I can bring two copies of cvs2 for ps2 but that’s all i can do for you.
Yeah, DC CvS2 is pretty weak.
PS2 is standard now, and in a game that prominently features a technique that requires near frame-specific timing, the speed change is gonna fuck a lot of shit up.
I honestly can’t believe nobody has said anything about this earlier…
I mean I just assumed it was PS2 considering that EVERY single major besides Final Round is now using PS2s…this just baffles me :looney:
Like I said, I am more than willing to donate 2 copies of CvS2 to help out the final round staff. I’m sure some other cvs2 players will do the same. but PLEASE keep it off DC unless you want to have 100 complaints about speed and 10000 complaints about “i dont have a DC converter, why isn’t this on PS2.”

ok heres the deal. im willing to donate two of the ECC ps2s and my two copies of cvs2 for this event IF it will be held on PS2. I want to avoid mass confusion and complaints when the event starts so I’m just trying ot help.

ALSO, a decision SERIOUSLY needs to be made about 3s. I say just do PS2 considering there is zero guarantee it will be on cab…
