I talked to someone from the EVO staff and I was still pissed off from the whole evosouth on the same weekend as FRX. We talked for a while and I understood why EVOsouth date/locations couldn’t be changed. They told me it was purely business and nothing personal. To show they didn’t want to fuck over FRX they offered 4 slots for each game list above. I wasn’t going to take them at 1st, but the more I thought about it that would have been putting my own personal feelings at the time ahead of the people attending FRX.
That’s one thing I pride myself on doing is not making FinalRound about me, because it’s always about the people that attend FinalRound. Always has and always will be about the community 1st and formost. I couldn’t pass up the chance for someone to qualify for EVOworlds at FRX. That would have been selfish as fuck. I’m not saying that i’m ok how things happend, but sometimes you must swallow your pride and move past things to better the community IMO.
I can tell you the EVO staff nor I want to divide the community with majors on the same dates. Hopefully we can avoid this from happening with future events.:wonder:

Question: Shin, GGXX/ is a team tourney. Is it able that if one of our members make top 4, the whole team gets a bye? Or is FRX GGXX/ tourney gonna be team style?
Silent Ness: The EX versions are called Force Breaks. They are different commands to use with 25% tension.

P.S.-you know you can only qualify for 1 spot in each game. From what I understand if you play in another region you either forfit the early qualifier or it won’t count towards that region’s qual’s unlike last year when I think S-kill qual at evoeast and evowest in ST. I think they changed it this year sir.:wonder:

I think we will have to run a team tournament for GGXX/ for the evoworlds spot!!! All teams must be willing to attend EvoWorlds or it wouldn’t be fair for those that plan on going to EVOworlds to lose to players that aren’t going to attend evoworlds. Choose your team wisely!!!
When you figure it out, can you redo the schedule to accomodate this? I would like to know specifics just so I can have a mental idea of what I’ll be doing most of the day.
basically you can get as many seeds as you want, but you can only play 1 in the semis at EVO world. so even if i get 3 seeds, i can only take 1 of those spots at EVO world, and i do not get to choose which. thats what happened to seth, he had 2 seeds so he just got randomly thrown into the semis bracket without control over it. and i agree with that, even if i get 10 seeds i shouldn’t be able to pick…
but its still going to be fun to be taking up so many seeds. all the haters are gonna have to recognize that im one of the best in ANY region!
