Hey all. I’m going to be at my first FR (and tournament in general). I’ve been trying to get a hold of a dual modded stick to use, as I only have a 360, but none that are out of box are in stock right now until after FR. Also, I don’t have time to dual mod mine before the tournament. Would anyone be willing to meet up and let me borrow their PS3 stick when I’m up? I’m probably going to get bodied, so I wouldn’t need it very long or often.
My group of friends are driving down Saturday morning, because I have class on Friday that I cannot skip.
One of our group wants to enter SF4, but I was wondering if I could get him in a later pool, just in case we hit traffic or something in the morning.
Is there an email address or something I should contact to settle this matter?

Like Larry said above, Gummowned and I will be doing stick mods on the floor from Friday morning until Sunday night. All we need is your stick; we’ll have everything we need on us.
We can mod your stick while you’re at the tournament! Come check us out at the modding table and we’ll get you taken care of. Just look for the guys with soldering irons!

This should have happened a long time ago, but all good things comes to those that wait. There was always a mutual respect between Me and Big E through our events, but after getting to know him this past year I see that we have the same drive and passion towards our events and towards this community.[/LEFT]

The 2nd and 3rd place would get a free badge+entry fee instead. I know NEC12 is going to be a hype event and I hope this news increase the hype levels to overload! Anyone that can not be at the hotel on friday morning March 2nd, 2012 MUST SIGN UP ONLINE register for their badge and games or they will not be able to compete in the tournaments. No they will not be put in a later pool if they don’t sign up online. They need to email the webmaster on the fr website to notify us that he will need to be in the late pools. They will get a spectator wristband and watch the event. Registration at the door ends on friday, period! If they register online they can pick up their badge on sat.

@Shinblanka: Yeah, I’m signed up and will be there Friday night. Will I be able to pick up my badge that night, or will I have to wait until Saturday in the AM to get it? Don’t mind either way, just curious. Also, will there be any vendors there selling sticks? I’ll be getting mine modded there, but it’s a SE modded with Sanwa buttons, and I want a nicer one!
Edit: My buddy that’s coming and purchasing a spectator badge wants to know if he will be able to participate in casuals.

Yes you can pick up your badge on friday night if you pre paid online.
once the pre reg online is closed we will be working on the list all weekend. each person has to be manually put in the system so we should have a list by sunday. This will online be a list of players, but it won’t be the final count nor will it be pool assignments! Just a list of the players attending and what games they are competing in at FRXV.
