Unfortunately, the State of Michigan doesn’t seem to care about that little detail, and has embroiled Alexander in a paternity case for years. The DNA evidence and testimony of Alexander’s ex-girlfriend both agree that he should not have to pay a dime for a child that isn’t his, but Michigan insists he still owes about $30,000.

This really shouldn’t surprise anyone. They’re doing this to fill the budget for either the county or the state. All states go out of their way to recoup money spent on rearing a single-parent child. It’s one of the most annoying things I’ve seen in the system.
Well, now he can pay out all the money he saved by getting a cut rate attorney. I don’t see how any competent lawyer couldn’t get this guy out of this.
Doesn’t matter if it isn’t his. Due to being part of the oppressor class known as male, he has somehow somewhere sometime had an undue privilege over a woman, and must pay for the rest of his life to make amends for that oppression.
