I’m intrigued by this testimony, please elaborate?
15 pounds of muscle? yeah…
…
Did you still drink stuff?
Thanks for the story, call bullshit but would like more details to try and replicate the results; really asking for more details as I would like to know what steps you took to make this tick.
Do you have credible links to this? Thai Ngoc was never validated by any legitimate sources that I’m aware of and I’ve never heard of a similar case. Familial fatal insomnia is deadly after about 2 years, so i find it difficult to believe that people are living with no sleep for three decades at a time. Even insomniacs who think they are awake for days on end tend to take micro naps and their brain patterns register the way they would if asleep for short periods of time.
The cases I was referring to all involved Familial Fatal Insomnia, I figured he just had the illness but managed to survive for an abnormally long period of time, similar to how some people with Parkinson’s manage to live 30-35 years with the disease when the life expectancy is nearly half that. I didn’t know that he was referring to an individual who lived for 30 years without sleep.
Wait a minute, I think I remember this now. Was this guy on Ripley’s Believe It Or Not?
Honestly, the only logical explanation to me is that this guy sold his soul to the devil and/or a demon, and this is simply a magic trick, a real one, not no David Blaine business. This happens a lot in India, seriously.
please tell me you’re fucking kidding.
i can’t believe there are this many gullible new agey ‘spiritual’ goobs out there to buy this nonsense.
Illness!?. Only a doctor would make such a claim of what he/she doesn’t know/understand, or taught in universities.
~K.
how much you wanna bet this guy’s been smoking marijuana daily for decades, somehow giving his body ‘nutrition’
Let’s just ignore the words logical and demon in the same sentence for a minute.
Who the hell would sell his soul (if it exists) for such a boring power? (Remember if you can deal with the devil that means you know a soul exists and therefore know that dieing wouldn’t be so final as you thought)
Surely you’d want levitation, eternal youth or some **** not, as others have coined it, Yoga starve.
what period of time was this?
Look it doesn’t matter how much you meditate or look like characters from SFIV…
The human body is going to shut down with prolonged absence of nutrients. The fact that this fraud has hair shows he has had some type of nutrients from food.

just goes to show that crazies are all over the place. and before anyone tries to use some of this bullshit to increase their muscle mass just know that I increased the size of my penis threefold by reading hume’s essays.
The guy is getting his liquid in somehow during this 2 week observation. .
You need another conjurer to review these paranormal claims. they haven’t invited him yet to review the claim

Once again, James Randi owns these trolls.
Not saying i believe it, but its pretty useless if he has to meditate. Now if he could fast AND run an obstacle coarse in record time twice a day…then id be impressed.
I assumed he was allowed water, he said he hasnt eaten?
as for demonic powers, I think people get a bit carried away with the fantasy image of demonic intent
i had already previously concluded that the mind is much more powerful than we believe, so i don’t find this kind of thing impossible. however the number of people able to perform it is likely close to non-existant and the number of frauds is easily much greater.
