OK, I had some time to process this stuff. I like the idea of kickstarter, I even backed a couple, but IMO as time goes on this nonsense will get worse. I admit, I laughed how successful this has become and I am interested to see if this guy will actually follow through. Though I am afraid this might give the kickstarter mission a bad reputation.
If it follows through, yes. But Kickstarter is already hurting its reputation by not doing anything to close it down. This goes against what Kickstarter is supposed to be.

I haven’t really checked out kick starter just heard people upset Spike Lee is using it to fund a movie. This may be the beginning of the end of it if it sparks more ridiculous projects like this that get alot of money. You’d think there was some type of screening process for what people setup.
