Not sure if it has been brought up before but I found this soundboard for Makoto in SSF4:
And noticed some extra unused Ultra 1 voices, particularly the following:
Seichuusen Midanzuki - 3
Seichuusen Juudanzuki - 9
Seichuusen Hyakudanzuki - 100
Just for reference:
Seichuusen Godanzuki - 5 hits
Thoughts? Maybe they had a tiered Ultra 1 setup during development?
I imagine if this was actually a thing this is how it would have went:
No input or holding HP netted one the current Seichuse godanzuki; perhaps with some lower damage. LP help would get Midan uki, low damage but perhaps able to continue the combo afterwards akin to U2. mP would net one Judanzuki, with higher damage than Godanzuki, but with limited oki afterwards. Huskiesnzuki might’ve netted one OMGWHATTHWFUCK damage but required one to have Tanden Renki active.
Just a random baseless theory.
U1 was probably a super at one time, and she did a different version based on which button you pressed. Like Adon’s super.
