anyone know the exact model of the usb controller used there?
oh and this:
IMO saturn pad is the best pad I’ve ever use for fighting. and although I prefer and use stick 99% of the time, certain situations won’t allow me to use stick thus me wanting a pad.
Why not get a saturn->ps2 converter? Or thesaturn pad for they remade specifically for the ps2? Or the street fighter anniversary pads modelled after the saturn controller?
if you know any converters please point me to it. I went to ebay and play asia and there are none. I wouldn’t mind one. the one they remade is sold out everywhere, and the SF pad I had, gave it away because it sucked ass. I prefer the original ps2 controller over the SF pad.
I could put it in the cart too, but upon closer look, it’s sold out. I did it last night. and like I said in the other thread, total price is $50, too much though… for now. I will just play it on my DC with innovation converter I have.
I have an idea on how to make it work for ps2. if I ever get off my ass to do it to see if it actually work. no time either.
I have never seen such a converter before, so it makes me think that it might indeed be a Saturn->PSX, and not a PSX->Saturn… What do you guys think? But at $3.00, you really can’t go wrong.
Converting a saturn pad to work on a playstation can’t possibly be more hair-brained than my attempt to get a dreamcast -> playstation converter. If anyone has information on where to get such a converter, or just has the ps2 saturn pad, please msg me T.T;
Edit: I’m going to msg the seller from the link above ^ to see if that’s really a converter or not. :tup:
Whoa, lucky me running across this thread in Google with such great timing. I’d really like to know about this too. If this is a real Saturn to PS2 adaptor, I want to chain it with the XFPS so I can connect my saturn controller to the 360. There’s simply no pad more suitible Virtua Fighter than the Saturn pad, and I have a feeling playing VF5 with such a setup will result in complete ownage.
Well, it depends on how fast the circuts are that translate the connection. I’d have to try it to find out, but I think it’s entirely possible you could do it without noticable lag. If there is lag, I suppose I’ll be forced to build that Saturn to Xbox 360 adaptor I saw, even thought it’d require me to canibalize one of my regular Xbox 360 controllers…
