…it only works if the opponent presses his buttons early…tends to work against j mk and jmp buttons those usually don’t stay active until they hit the ground…you can condition then to do this if you neutral jump anti air them a couple of times…it is still kinda risky cause if they press late and you do get hit it will be a counterhit and it will be a big combo
I really miss KKK back flip in this game…it beat both reversals and throws on wake up…it wasn’t someting we could abuse but it was an option that made the rock/scissor/ paper game once you knocked someone down more even…meaby they thought it would be too powerful with the crush counter mechanics
It’s a little different closer to the corner and at some heights. You just got to try it out here and there and get used to it unfortunately. Or give up and only do drops!
By the way i been playing around with your lp ase on wake up tech in the lab and it looks like it has huuuge potential…it will just take time to master…i have an easier time just walking fordward and max range lp ase than dashing fordward and lp ase…if time correctly it beats or makes wiff all of ken’s options on wake up even ex shoryuken and light normals… i imagine it could work on a lot of other characters with reversals…i guess dashing fordward is useful cause it creates the ilusion that you are going for a throw but just walking fordward is easier…even if they just block it…it most feel good to be able to pressure chars with invincible reversals without fear
I’ve been testing it a little and idk how you guys are getting dash up lp ase to work on ken. But doing the walk up than lp ase beats ken’s hard and ex dp, and so far it’ll make ryu’s hard and ex dp whiff. This and the corner set up is really making me like ASE as a finisher now.
you know, this should be in the Video thread. I wonder when people will understand how to use forums and understand topics. Very nice material, by the way.
ok, there’s a tutorial part, right? But it is in the video right? So… do the math. Don’t be offended, just improve your knowledge about using forums. I’m not telling it’s forbidden to post it here, but the tech will be more visible there. Whatever, dude.
He put it in the right spot… It does have relevance. Jack could have easily said “please add this to the video thread as well” instead of chastising the guy for his decision making on which forum thread he best thought it fit.
yes i’m rude and bad, i was the one criticizing someones ability to post on a forum right?! how mentally ill can you be to sit there and harshly judge someone who posted USEFUL content (something vega forums lack most of the time)
Hey guys…in the Flash Metroid video he comes across something i noticed before…when you still have your claw on bare handed st HP>switch stances is +1 on block and +6 on hit…but once you lose your claw BH st Hp> Switch stances is 0+ on block and + 5 on hit…this is clearly so you can’t do st Hp> into tech combo…i don’t know if this was patched in one of the updates of was like that since the beggining
