First Annual Freestyle Combo Contest:

* In likeness of the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, players will go through 2 rounds displaying the most stylish, creative combos they can come up with.
* A panel of 5 judges will score each combo on a scale from 6 to 10. Points are totalled for a score out of 50.
* Counter-hits are permitted on, but only 4 EX stock and one Ultra may be used ? it has to be match practical.
* Anything you do, on or off the screen, counts ? if the judges like it, it?s good,
* Ties at the end of round 2 are to be settled with a Sudden Death Combo-off

I’m not seeing too much hype for the event though, so I need to do an interest check first just to see how many are down to participate. If worse comes to worse we can always do combo challenge MMs with H-o-r-s-e rules, Chris Hu style.

Yo I think HORSE rules would be awesome. Would definitely participate in that. I think otherwise it’s too subjective depending on how the judges are…judging it. Damage? Number of hits? Difficulty of links? WHO KNOWS.
