Simultaneous Superfreeze: Case 3!
(Street Fighter EX series)

The first is SFEX C.Jack’s Home Run Hero against Zangief’s Super Stomping. The second is SFEX2+ Sharon’s lvl3 Assault Rifle against Hokuto’s lvl3 Shirase Gatana. All four SFEX arcade titles permit simultaneous superfreezing, and it’s a good bet that all console versions follow suit.

Concluding this journey through the arcane origins of the SFEX series, here we have two rare instances of true 3D movement.

The first is SFEX+ B.Ryu’s F+KKK Teleport evading Allen’s Guard Break. The second is SFEX2 Kairi’s HP Shin Ki Hatsudo after using B+KKK Teleport to sidestep Guile’s Opening Gambit. In fact, the way Arika interpreted Teleportation has always been one of my favorite things about the SFEX series.

Not as good as Maj’s but here’s what I had laying around:

From . For those of you who’ve never heard of the game, it’s a sort of hack-and-slash action RPG like those Dungeons and Dragons games Capcom made a few years ago. Except, oddly enough, it’s actually more like a Capcom fighting game than those.

I just love how unimpressed Tails is.

Sorry for the low quality on these, I don’t have a capture card. I suppose they’re all technically sort of cheating, since they’re from one of my modified versions of MvC2 where I messed around with the colors. In the 2nd picture, War Machine’s Smart Bombs are exploding.

Those are awesome. This thread could definitely use more Sonic 2 screenshots.

Back before my Saturn broke, i always wanted to play Guardian Heroes but it was always way too expensive on ebay. Hopefully they’ll release it on xbox live arcade eventually.

I was never lucky enough to own Guardian Heroes either.

Signs petition for XboxLive Arcade Release

Isn’t that shot from Ice Cap Zone in Sonic 3?

You aren’t missing much. I got the japanese version on a Saturn System fighting game package deal over e-bay and it was a big let down.

Anyways, here is my contribution, Marvel vs. Capcom. A Dark Chun-Li is cool and all, but having 3 missles evacuated out of her nether regions doesn’t necessarily trip my trigger. Maybe Robocop or the Terminator could procreate with this thing, but I’d hate to even imagine her exhaust pipe like asshole after rocketing these suckers. At least she pays some respect with a small bow, saying “I’m sorry” in Japanese. To quote South Park Bleeding Mary statue episode: “It wasn’t coming from her ass, it’s coming from her vagina, and there is nothing holy about that.”

3 not enough? How about the super which let’s loose the Diarrhea Missle Storm.

Capped screen with gray puff of smoke near her booty done on purpose.

Edit: vv speaks for himself.

Maj can try all he wants, but there’s no way he’s keeping SRK’s bizarre rectal fixation out of this thread.

Epic Super Clash: Episode 14!
(SVC Chaos: SNK vs Capcom)

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3250/3113565753_a93987a76a_o.png ~~~ http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3262/3114400632_7a0cbf7184_o.png

The first is SvCC Guile’s Sonic Hurricane against Terry’s Double Geyser. The second is SvCC Goenitz’s Fuujin Ibuki against Demitri’s Demon Flare. Although the Fuujin Ibuki is a rush super, the second hit often whiffs when the first hit connects against an extended limb. As long as the fifth hit doesn’t whiff, Goenitz goes on to create both tornadoes. Blocking the fifth hit gives Demitri plenty of time to jump away before the first tornado appears.

Weapons are for wussbags!

The first is SvCC Ryo’s Tenchi Haoken smacking the hell out of Vega’s s.HP iron claw, instantly dizzying him. The second is SvCC Balrog’s Ultimate Wild Smash punching the daylights out of Genjuro’s s.LK katana. The reason Genjuro’s name is dim is cuz it’s blinking from just having lost over half his lifebar.

Still one of the -if not the- best threads on SRK right now.
I love the weapons post. Always liked the way Rog looked in that game. Too bad the game’s so… Great screens Maj!

Also i went through my old videos and added two sample snapshots to each page. Looks less like a txt file now.

Dammit, i just figured out that this whole thread only looks right if you’re using a Premium skin. Otherwise the Capcom images don’t fit side by side, even at 1280x768 screen resolution. Dunno what to do about this.

I… I’ve been unknowingly enjoying a suboptimal experience this entire time! NOOOooooooooo

Okay, went back and fixed all the posts so they look right under non-premium Blue Steel at 1280 resolution. Couldn’t do anything about SRK Default or Red Hotness though.

My strength is much greater than yours.
(my little tribute to Zangief)

The first is MvC Zangief’s HK Flying Powerbomb (in Iron Body form) chasing down Megaman through (2P color) Thor assist and Megaman’s Charge Shot. The second is SFA3 A-Balrog’s lvl3 Gigaton Blow about to be grabbed by X-Zangief’s lvl3 Final Atomic Buster. Both titles were released in the same year, and lazy-ass Capcom actually used the same exact lightning bolt animation in these two backgrounds.

And now for something different …

The first is SNES Brutal: Paws of Fury. Ivan the Bear is recovering from dizzy animation after having killed Foxy Roxy. The second is SNES Killer Instinct. Orchid’s Danger Move turned Jago into a frog, but she spared him and now they’re posing together in front of a vintage convertible.

I finally have something cool to add to this thread! If someone knows how to get true full screen with JNes, I’ll do this one over, but here it is:

I don’t know how well known this glitch is, but in the European version of River City Ransom (dubbed “Street Gangs” over here), if you stand next to this bridge and jump up and kick, you’ll start spinning around, making your move resemble a hurricane kick.
Of course, if I had just shown you a screen of the kick itself, it won’t look special, so I chose to show two guys both sides getting hit at the same time.

Update: New, crisper image , with kick, though both baddies are blocking + Animated gif to show the glitch in action!

Couple of inverted attack pairs - nothing crazy, but i thought they looked cool.

The first is SF2HF Guile’s j.HK against Guile’s F+HK upside-down kick. The second is SSF2 Guile’s c.MK against Guile’s F+HK upside-down kick.

Along the same vein, except illustrating rotation.

The first is SFA3 A-Juli’s lvl3 Spin Drive Smasher under V-Juni’s HK air Spiral Arrow in VC1. The second is SSF2T Dhalsim’s j.D+HP drill times two, half rotation out of phase.

The first one is ken and ryu before sparring showing each other some good sportsmanship,
The second one below is Bison and Chun-Li doing high kicks at the same time but it looks as if Bison was lifting Chun-Li up from her dress as if getting ready to throw her with one hand.
