I’m really steamed up right now because I just found out that a letter I sent to my Uni two weeks ago stating which part of my financial aid award I want to accept/decline, never arrived. I have a very short time before everything I am eligible for is assumed to be accepted. This means I will be borrowing far more than I need (and the part that I declined accrues interest immediately). At least in theory. I hope I can make amends to this, even if its past the supposed deadline, but if not, I’m going to be very pissed.
