Meh, I pulled the USB cable from the PCB somehow. Can someone tell me or link a pic. I seem to have 2 black wires one thin and one Thick. I dont know where to solder the think one.

Nothing really. It just acts as a ground for external sheath shielding on the cable, just under the external jacket. When I’ve modded these sticks with new PCBs that bad boy gets snipped and tucked.
It grounds the external shielding, which blocks radio and magnetic interference from messing with the USB cable
Both black wires are connected to the same ground on the board and it serves just to tie the two grounds together
Im in the same boat but with the Madcatz TE1 Wii version . I bought the pcb of this stick in hopes of making a wii fightstick and I dont know the buttons layout on the pcb
The board should have button labels printed on it
and if not you can still follow the circuitry with a multimeter
Mine is still working just fine. Again, fat wire to SGND, thin black to ground.
I have the same thing with my SE Stick except it’s the the sgnd that’s been pulled out, so will it still work fine if i just tape it off to a side?.
