Madcatz TE wiring interfering with buttons

Hey guys, got my plexi on my TE and was changing buttons today and ran into something which annoys me no end. When putting the panel back on, the buttons closest to the stick (jab, short, strong and forward) are fine, but when I press down on the right side of the control panel/plexi, it feels like a small force is pushing back at me. I found out it was the wiring, as the buttons furthest away from the stick have more wiring underneath them and give more of an opposing push when I try to close it

This is fine, but it kills the sound/feel of the last two buttons (using first 6). I have 6 new sanwa buttons which arrived today, when I had in the panel totally independent of the stick (like when it was unscrewed) they all felt identical and perfect. When I close the panel back on, I think because there is more wiring underneath the far two buttons they sound and feel different because the sheer fact there is more material/wiring underneath

Any ideas? It’s annoying as hell

Just make sure that the bunch of wires is not directly under the buttons. Did it do this before? You can also bend the QD’s, but only really need to if you’re using RG (sanwa heavy duty) buttons.
