I think that i’m gonna pre-order the download, and then play it on sixaxis, see if its gonna run ok on my lap… and then i’ll get one of those sticks… it shall work on my lap cuz its
amd turionx2 2.0ghz dual core,3 gb ram, win home premium 32bits, video memory is up to 1407 (ofc its not dedicated) i think it has 256 dedicated…
since its cheap i might just make my own stick… its all about time now… cant wait for 7 jun, really.
pre order the download you stupid idiot , play it on six axis, video card specs what the puck are you rambling about you moron, idiot quoting specs thats completly irrelevant in regards to what is needed to allow the fight sticks to work.
do some reading you moron and post less often.
also a tip to every one else, make sure the pci card you purchase is compatible with vista as some old ones are not.
Okay, I’ve given up hope on MadCatz. Is there possibly anything I could do to get this stick to work on my PC outside of the PCI card? Maybe if I get the tools (read: balls) to do a dual-mod and install a 360 PCB, would that work?
Don’t give up hope on Madcatz yet. Anyway, they’re also trying to find out where did the claim stating that the PS3 sticks will work on the PC came from. I myself got that info from the sticky. Anyone knows any official sources?
I also bought a 7.99 generic USB card with VIA chipset (VT6212L) from Fry’s. Now my TE stick works like a champ for my SF Hyper edition fix on MAME!
On a side note, this card also allowed my SFAC 8V stick to work on my PC as well – my stick is using the dual PS2 to USB adapter from CablesforPC. Additional info. is on Kyle’s Converter Compatibility thread. The stick was NOT working on my OHCI USB ports but works great on the UHCI USB ports of the VIA card.
Thanks, will probably end up buying it, though I might wait a bit. Wonder why Madcatz went the proprietary route on the USB interface (cheaper?). That’s the only issue I have with their sticks so far.
I’m wondering. I’m planning to go with a dual mod for my stick (putting a 360 pcb in). Would that allow me to use the normal 360 drivers to use the stick? I mean, it seems like it would work.
Yes, it will work. You would know this if you would have read my post, which is on the same page not 10 posts above yours, where I linked that exact card and verified it worked.
Ouch just managed to pick up a PS3 SE stick (canceled my order with amazon since they’ve had almost 3 months to deal with my order and nothing), got it home and ran into this problem, all I can say about it is I hope madcatz fixes it soon, since the madcats fightsticks are about the only fightsticks readily avialble in england atm.
Sorry, but I did read through all 17 pages, must have missed your post though because I was mainly looking for some kind of link to something that could make it work.
Sadly though there are no other sticks on the market over here in the UK as far as I can see though, so it looks like I’m just going to have to get another usb card thingy rather then having my wallet forcably violated by the p&p charge to import a diffent type of stick over here.
Madcatz may not care much but at least they were willing to bring something over her.
We should do something about it… The Pc is getting a cold shoulder here from madcatz.
I really wish i knew more small companys who would make Sticks and drivers for Multi platform console gaming or whatever you wanna call it. does anybody know anyone?
