I’ll try it tomorrow. Thanks!
So is there a difference between ground and kgnd?
KGnd is for killing all functions on the turbo/home panel when the Lock switch is toggled to active.TE round 2 and TE-S had it built-in to automatically tie that lock out also to Start and Select functions as well. The TE round 1 (unfortunately) doesn’t have this functionality for Start and Select. If you wish to kill the home panel as well a Start & Select during lock out, you’ll need to route the “KGnd” wire on the EZPZ as a ground daisy-chain to Select and then to Start to have the same functionality.
i dont really care about having a lockout switch tbh. I’m just a bit concerned that in windows, the home buttons thinks its constantly held down. everything else seems to be working just fine.
Ok… Did you try the other wire?
I have a question is there a control panel button on this mod for the old TE sticks?
And how about L3 and R3?
That’s what the dp/Ls/rs slider switch becomes, it changes the turbo button to either L3/Touch/R3. Works great too!
I bought a board recently and am wondering how to attach it to the ZD PS2 board, as it is not common ground, but only for the joystick. My question is this, do I attach the VCC to VDD on this board or I still risk something?
But what about KGround?
What inputs did you want to wire up? Don’t see much reason to need the home panel with it. The board had no player leds or home input. Just L3 and R3.
I would like to use the Mode button most of all, but I have wired it to a Select Button on a Mad Catz SE. I will be upgrading to a Brook Board one day, but not in a huge rush.
But if I were to use a vanilla ZD board, I’d have to use VDD with VCC like so?

Yeap, The VDD here is the VCC
If all you are using is the Aux button for mode you don’t need to wire any power to the hpr. It only uses vcc (3v) for the player leds.
Oh good. It’s like the start and select buttons, I don’t know why there are traces that go nowhere on that board.
many boards are double sided with vias acting as jumpers
Looked at your website, I’m stupid, sorry for reviving a dead thread.
He’s been MIA since January. Toddler daddy duty and work probably is in full swing right about now.
I hear that.
Neat, I’ll probably order one.
I may get one in a couple months for my Madcatz SE
