Madcatz Home Panel Replacement Board: Making UFB installs EZPZ

There should be no reason why it couldn’t be used alongside a padhack, in the simplest sense.
Depending on the packhack used, you may not get all the cool stuff (KGnd, lock switch, L3/R3/TP, player LEDS), at least, not without some fancy additional wiring, but you should at the very least be able to use the stock Home button.

Can ballers on a budget rig this up to the good 'ol PS360+ PCB until they get more UFB funds?

Yes, but you will have to rotate or remove the plastic shroud for the player led header on the ps360+. Aux switch harness will be unused since ps360+ has no l3,tp,r3 inputs.

@Gummo I just want to solder to it to be able to use the home button. really don’t wanna make permanent modifications on the original.

Yeah you can use the HPR board for that purpose.

awesome, thanks.

Boom! Just waiting on my UFB to arrive so I can finish.

nice and easy install thx Gummo

I’m currently wiring up my UFB on my Wii TvC Fightstick and I’m having trouble figuring how to keep the original turbo and home buttons, so I find this board very interesting. Sadly it’s already out of stock on gummomods.

Added 10 more to the site just now. Was saving some for myself, but I can wait until my second batch.

Great news. Sadly I’ve read somewhere that you don’t ship internationally. Is that true? (I’m in france).

Unfortunately true.

Loving the pink led’s!

Since the new Brook PS4+ Audio board looks like it has the same pinout as the UFB will it be compatible/plug and play out of the box with the HPR?

No, the pin header pitch is different. You would have to solder the harness to the board.

Is there a place where I can buy the UFB with pre installed headers? I’m an absolute newb when it comes to hardware/modding and trying to avoid soldering at all costs. BTW Just received the HPR thanks!

ParadiseArcadeShop has an option for all headers soldered

Thanks @butteroj I love this community

Hey @Gummo Will you be at FR 20 this weekend? If so will you have some of these HPR boards on hand for sale?

Yes and yes.
