Hello, have modded a Fightstick alpha with gold leaf concave buttons, and bat top and Kowal actuator, main objective is retro arcade american/europe style and for Schmups , while the looks are acomplished, the trow/engage of JLF plus Kowal is still large.
Seimitsu LS-33 would be ideal to fit in this small enclosure but only sold in ArcadeShock and shippment to europe is expensive. Comparing to the LS-56 I think this only has longer shaft than LS-33, putting LS-33 shaft in LS-56 make them identical? Will the shaft fit?

And with Kowal short throw mod plate for LS-56 I think would be the shortest engage possibly (appart from IL Mag Stick or Suzo which would not fit)

Try a heavier spring first, but it’s gonna start causing issues with that stick casing being so light

Yes I thought of that, because is commonly used the heavier spring for shmups, but I’m quite reluctant because one thing I like is the light feeling, and would like light and short engage, so will go to the Seimitsu LS-62 or similar, which have short shaft and light spring. After trying the Shrink pvc which I want to test.
