Madcatz 360 TE stick wont work with half of my emulators/games

So I bought my TE (360 version) about 6 months ago and never had a problem getting it to work with SF4 (PC) or Mame, but I always tried to get it to work with CPS2-3 and any other emulator or Melty Blood (PC versions). Half of them just done even detect it. My wired 360 pad works with everything but for some reason the TE wont. It only works with SF4, MAME, and FBA.

I know there is probably a thread about this but Iv been looking for hours and I cant seem to figure out my problem.

If anyone can help me that would be awesome. :]

Im on Windows 32bit btw.

XPADDER, Might be your solution but it has trouble picking up on some of my buttons for dreamcast emu ETC, It’s hard to say really you kinda just gotta get hackish with it (meaning find a way to rig it up :P)

I do have xpadder. I used it alittle bit and it was alittle confusing but it worked.

What would you suggest me do for melty blood?

Some of the inputs are not on the Keyboard. (Like Start and a one other I cant remember)

JOY TO KEY

You’ll have to do a little reading, but this program basically will let your joystick (or whatever) emulate keyboard strokes.
All you really need to do is map your joystick directions.
It’s because 360 pads use POV Hat and not the Axis (which most emulators use).

I’ve discovered this program back when I was into MUGEN and wanted to use my Saturn pad.

Ah yeah I tried Joy to key back a few months ago. It wont detect the stick.

Works for me and a few others here. Google search for “Joy to Key XBOX 360 config”.
I remember seeing some where a config file you can copy and paste.

Hmmm Ill try that but xpadder does seem to do the trick. Now just need to figure out how to get Melty Blood controls right. XD

-Create a new txt file name it whatever…let say “Madcatz TE.cfg”
-Copy the text below into the file and save.
-Place the txt file in the Joy to Key folder.
Basically all I did was input the joystick directions, but that’s all you’ll need.

Hmmmmm

So Cammy-white tells me xpadder and kubebot tells me joytokey. XD

oops double post.

I’ve never used Xpadder, looks more elegant. Try both, or whatever works best for you. I’m just recommending what I know.

And I thank you for your help. :]

Im gonna try both to see what works the best. Because I want to play some melty blood with my friends and we both use TE sticks and Im gonna see what one works best for 2 sticks.

Now I just need to figure out how to change the controls in melty blood.
