Ok i can understand the lack of TV’s or whatever sure. Its a lan center. But to be honest, I’m not cool with non tournament games running during the time of tournaments. Not to be an anti casuals nazi here, but we had 2 tvs for 3rd (most likely the most entered tournament) for the majority of the tournament. I could have run the C3 3rd tournament in my damn room if that were the case (no I couldn’t have, but i do have 2 tv’s even though one of them is old as piss). There were random setups for other games on the wall that I feel could have been used for tournament games.
I don’t think it would hurt to try to get certain people to run brackets for tournaments ahead of time. I mean usually someone just gets the brackets and tries to look for people while players play casuals for 2 hours.
I’m not tryin to rag on this too much. I thought this C3 was excellent and I had a blast. I’m just sad teams always get thrown in the dump because of time. David holds a solid gathering place for the EC. Everyone at C3 knows each other. Its like “Cheers” but much less depressing.
also serious points for the guys who brought the VF5 setups. Sticks on both systems made my day. I was super happy about that.
