Just got home from seeing Mad Max. Simply the best action movie I’ve seen in a long time. Everything about this movie was on point.
I saw AoU, but this pretty much clowned any modern day action film. It was simplistic in its execution and did not overly use CG for sequences. Oh and the women didn’t have to try hard to be bad ass (unlike Scarlett Johansen).
I loved how bizarre everything was as well, from the war boys to the pig face dude rubbing his nipples. Yeah this is my movie of the year (so far).
Yo this movie was crazy good. The best part of it though was the art design. Every clan had a unique look, and some of them had unique fighting styles. Shit, more than anything I just kept getting impressed by how fleshed out the world was.

Saw it today. Ive never seen the previous films but I really love the designs of the vehicles, Immortan Joe,and the guitar guy.
Great action.

Maybe I am stupid but the OG Madd Max was nearly unwatchable to me a few years ago. And I remember road warrior to be a bit boring as a kid. I loved Beyond Thunderdome as a kid however. I am sure this one is as dope as you guys say, I just think the Madd Max series is one of those that just seems to get better with each sequel. The post apocalyptic design just gets more and more exaggerated and they becomes more memorable/endearing.
This looks cool but it looks like they totally ripped off the videogame Borderlands.
It’s the other way around.
Borderlands, Rage, Fallout, etc. are all heavily inspired by the Mad Max series and openly admit to it.
