This competition-ready SOUL Edition FightStick uses high-quality Sanwa parts, the very same parts that are found in Japanese arcade cabinets. The Sanwa JLF is the standard in high-quality, tournament-grade FightSticks.

8-Button Layout with Multi-Speed Turbo Functionality

Eight Sanwa action buttons help ensure easy access to every strike, kick, guard and combo. Multi-speed Turbo functionality gives two distinct turbo speeds that can be mapped to any one of the action buttons on the FightStick, and these Turbo settings can be monitored on the control panel, and even disabled for tournament play.

Premium-Quality Components with Genuine Namco Noir Layout

The eight-button Namco Noir layout offers a comfortable, ergonomic control scheme, reminiscent of SEGA’s classic Astro City configuration. Sanwa OBSF-30 action buttons respond with pinpoint accuracy and can withstand repeated use.

Controller Lock/Unlock Switch

A lock switch on the control panel provides the ability to lock out the use of Turbo functionality and prevents use of the Xbox Guide button. No more accidental pauses or automatic forfeitures in key moments during tournament matches!

3-Way Joystick Switch

A useful three-way switch provides the ability to navigate in-game menus and play games from other genres, including downloadable titles on Xbox LIVE. Easily switch between functionality for the left analog stick, right analog stick, or the default D-Pad setting.

Exclusive Translucent Casing with Blade-Inspired EDGE Bezel and Stainless Steel Screws

With a unique bezel which mimics the weapons used in SOULCALIBUR V, there’s no mistaking this FightStick for any other. The translucent casing provides a glimpse into the controller’s inner workings, and the stainless steel screws used on the control panel reinforce the sword-themed appearance while retaining their lustrous finish.

Heavy Metal Base

This is no cheap plastic toy; the durable metal base increases the FightStick’s weight for a solid, secure feel when draining your foe’s life bar. Easily unscrew the rubber feet to securely mount the FightStick to a table or other solid surface.

13 FT USB Cable with Internal Storage

A 13-foot-long controller cable ensures maximum comfort no matter what your gaming setup is. Stash the cable in the internal storage compartment to keep your gaming weapon sleek and ready for travel.

Connects to the Console via Lag-Free USB

Proven in and out of tournament play at the highest levels, the best players from around the globe prefer the FightStick’s high-quality wired USB connection over wireless controllers. From World Champion, Daigo “The Beast” Umehara of Team Mad Catz, to many of the top eight players from the EVOLUTION world finals, the Arcade FightStick: SOUL Edition is the obvious choice for casual and competitive gamers alike.

Will this stick be limited like the comic con and femme fatale? If so, how many are being made?

This one will not be numbered. But like all sticks we make, we aren’t making them forever. With all the games coming out in 2012 I doubt we’ll make more than one run of these.

other than Steeet Fighter X Tekken, and TTT2 (late in 2012), i dont see that many fighting games being released in 2012 console wise, ok there might be a blazblue game in between, but that’s about it, am i missing something here?

Seeing both SC5 sticks at SCR I will say that pictures dont do them justice… I am leaning more towards the MC stick because the case looks really good… the hori design is comfortable too tho the start button door did bust off on the stick I tried out… there were a lot of people trying out both sticks… misuse and abuse was probably the cause… I personally didnt like the start button cover but it is unique for sure…

Is there an official date for the stick release? i checked the 1st post on this thread and it just says Jan 2012 ^_^;;

Yeah, I’ll let you know next week!

Cannot… forget… about the VF: Final Showdown…

… Or Skull Girls.

Always possibility that Capcom will announce another fighting game revival even if it doesn’t seem likely now.

You also can’t forget the Japanese-exclusive fighting games that will pop on the 360 and PS3…
Always a possibility someone will get wise and do new re-releases on PSN or XBL or throw us a bone and done a series compilation disc like SF Alpha Anthology and Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection but I somehow doubt that.

I just fail to see games that interest me , and those 2 that i mention I’m super hyped about.

Not a big fan of blazblue, soul calibur (but both sticks OMG), or VF

come to think of it that’s 5 already and im missing a a couple more titles.

VF:FS is the only fighting game I’m looking forward to this year, and it would not surprise me if Sega had struck a deal for a line of arcade sticks.

It *would *surprise me if Sega struck a deal for a line of arcade sticks, considering they released the VSHG with VF5. Hopefully they’ll release an even “higher grade” stick for FS.

Support WARKMAN23, pay the extra 10.

how is buying it from gamestop not supporting markman/madcatz?

You’re shooting yourself in the foot. WARKMAN won’t love you anymore if you don’t buy it from Amazon or Gameshark

That was the wrong product anyways, lol.

Ding-Dong here… I have deleted the post, my sincerest apologies Q.Q I have brought dishonor!

Any chances to get this in Europe?

Of course.

You can already pre-order it in the UK from Zavvi.
