But what kind of gate is going to be used? Will it be a common square gate, or perhaps an octagonal gate for the 8 way run? Just curious.
Square.
It doesn’t need to be octagonal to use 8 way run. Any gate can be used that gives you access to 8 directions.

I really like the formfactor of the stick. The smoky-translucence of the stick, as well as the rounded corners on the top, it gives the stick a different look overall.

My last TE was the R1 which I dualmodded and sold a while ago. So this is pretty refreshing.
Just got my package. Feast upon it! I don’t have my tools to open this at the moment so no insides. But it should be pretty standard stuff for the most part.

Good stick. I purchased this for a few reasons:

[]NEW BUTTON LAYOUT! I can’t remember the last time I played on a cab with this layout. this is refreshing as I am a tall guy with wide shoulders. I’ll be bending my wrist a lot less while using this so physically this is good.

I ordered one of these today for 360. I want to dual-mod it. I’ve done a TE with the ChimpSMD before, so will that work in this stick too?
I’m 99% sure it will work. But let Toodles confirm it in case they changed up the PCB in this stick.
I don’t have any tools to open this up at the moment so I cannot confirm that information.

I just like how it gives the TE line some more variety, I personally prefer playing on either the flat six or the back 6 T5Hori style…
