Front paged.
Sorry I was just saying its going to be released in USA unless I read something wrong.
no love for pad players ?
What do Korean arcade stick parts have to do with pad?
I think he means he wants MadCatz to make some new, better controllers.
But yeah, nothing really to do with this thread.
NOPE. This is a Mad Catz SE with a Korean Crown joystick as the stock joystick thread.
No love for pad players here.
I think the KE would sell. Most players that I KNOW love korean parts love them for the joysticks rather than the buttons.
Here hoping the Korean parts market isn’t that niche.
I haven’t have the opportunity to play on Korean parts yet.
I understood they sit in the middle ground on how American style and Japanese style joysticks work feel.
They use rubber grommets for centering, which the old Wico joysticks used to use. And many Tekken players swear by Korean Joysticks.
Hmm. I don’t play Tekken but I think I might pick up a 303-FK and try it out. I wish I could find arcade parts in a physical store somewhere near me so that I can feel them out before I buy. I’ve also had very little experience with Seimitsu joysticks but I don’t want to buy every model just to see how they feel.
There only 1 store I know of that has a brick and mortar location that lets you feel out joysticks, I think its in New York.
Fantas feel weird at first if you’re used to spring centered levers.
I just bought one a few months ago. It’s amazing for Tekken. It feels more responsive and accurate.
The main difference you get from the construction is the stick resets back to neutral better. This is important for wave dashing, and makes it somewhat easier to back dash cancel. That’s what makes it better than Sanwa/Seimetsu sticks for Tekken.
The Crown will NOT fit inside a Noir layout TE unless you rip up the interior. The wiring inside requires too much space. In an SE case, there is no mangling of the interior required.
Sanwa still has better buttons.
Can you clarify what needs to be hacked up? I’m planning on doing this soon, and there are no SCV-related guides that I’ve found.
Yeah, I can post what I did in the Check Out My Arcade Stick thread, where it’s more relevant.
Thanks for clarifying about the Noir case situation!
I wonder how it would be for the newer-design Hori cases (HRAP V3/VX and the HRAP N3/NX).
Those cases have been all kinds of trouble for modifications – the HRAP N3 in particular is fussy about the way you install the LS-32-01.
I have a feeling that Dremels will have to come out to get even the revised Crown joysticks to fit into more Japanese joystick cases.
I was actually thinking about a Crown stick for my HRAP V3 but i really dont know if it will fit without some cutting. Oh well, maybe I will try a crown stick on my custom case. I think I have decided on going with a LS-56 for the V3.
The 303-FK fits perfectly into a HRAP V3/VX

Thank you. I’ve been fishing for that info all day. Now I’m truly torn on what lever to install in the V3.
