He does, but I love his liberal use of it. EX.DR is one of Bison’s best offensive tools. Wish his regular DR kept the speed and controllability of the EX version.

This video shows how in my opinion Bison not having an AA is is his biggest problem, even more than not having an invincible reversal, which it is second.
He seems to use the ex dr to condition, bait and to put bison at a good spot to make use of his good normals from the matches I looked over, not to mention meter does build hella fast in this game.
Watching Galtu play is truly a treat. A delicious treat.
Something about him sets him apart from all the other Bison Specialists. Like, when I watch Tampa, I don’t get the same feels I get when I watch Galtu, even though I rationally recognize Tampa is a great player. I can’t my finger on it b but only Moons tickled my fancy like this in SF5. Having said that, it’s becoming clear to me that Galtu is on another level. It’s like he’s embodies the character best thus far.
I don’t see it that way; those matches are showing that when two high skilled level players face each other, who uses the best character ends up winning. Karin has better footsies, specials moves, walkspeed, normals, doesn’t have to spend EX meter, has an invincible reversal and better AA that Bison.
is not that Galtu has a bad defense, Bison doesn’t have any defense and his offense is mediocre at best. skills and abilities can only take you to some extent you need options at the end of the day.
From videos that I’ve seen of him, he almost refuses to v-reversal. This helps him save for Vtrigger, but that leaves him taking a lot of pressure, just like in the Karin vid. He also likes to press buttons on defense, a lot of times never just committing to block. Honestly it’s tough for anyone to do in this game
