It is sad how he has to spend all his meter bar for HS EX just to force a mistake from the Ryu and try to get in. In the end, Ryu always has his CA ready, while Bisonâs is empty.
Yeah Ryu doesnât rely on ex moves so much which helps. Bison on the other hand is desperately dependant on meter. Really makes me wish they kept the unique property h V-skill had from B1, where if he parried without retaliating with a Psycho Shot he gains ex meter, but if he threw back a fireball he gained v meter.
Well, Iâve watched a few videos, but didnât notice that. At least inferno is a motion special probably the only improvement since the betas though.
the problem with Bison´s special is that they do nothing and the same; I like motion inferno but not as a combo ender it should work as a DP; blast for a move that takes the place of Psycho Crusher is meeeh, doesnât work as poke doesnâ have a good range and is slow; it should be faster an with a bigger hitbox that lift the opponents and puts them in a juggle state, scissors MUST be airborne, head press a better track, devil reverse faster and and allow us to continue the pressure. His special should do different things that way we have more options.
It never made sense to me that Blast didnât put opponents in a juggle state, at least when it connects as an AA. Itâs functionally very similar to SFEXâs Psycho Cannon, which also put opponents in a juggle state. VEX Blast at least also needs to go full screen or at least have more range. I agree with the rest though.
thatâs an excellent analogy; It should work similar to SFEXâs Psycho Cannon (the good olds days). His specials feels incomplete and too weak; playing with Juri when an opponent is pressured me they doubt because they fear an invincible reversal or a Vreversal with Bison Iâm the one who is afraid.
I donât mind the lack of a reversal if Bison becomes a wall and his pressure game is supreme. Also fixing his vskill will help fill the v-gauge faster so more chance for a v-reversal.
If he gets really good dashes, and his aerial specials improve, he will have better mobility thus better escape options. The lack of a invincible reversal then would be justified.
in that respect I must say that I respectfully disagree; a wall should make you feel afraid to be near it, thanks to its great offense and defense; if the only way to take away an enemy from you is is through Vreversal you are not a good wall; you need to receive damage for Vreversal, his normals are already slow well in that case his special should be powerful, Bison weakness should lie in open opponents. Iâm fine with not have an overhead, the lack of a command grab, be the slowest in the game but having a mediocre offensive and a non-existent defense with those not.
