I think it would be nice of them to go the Alpha 2 route and have multiple bosses based on who you played as. Dic still has story with some characters, not so much with others. Thatâs where having a new boss or different character would help the branching stories.
Letâs be real, if Bison were to be in this game, you would all rage quit him 1 month max.
Oh yeah, Seth is such a lame villain. Capcom canât use new content. Letâs get hype for Gill instead. Gtfo.
Make Urien the final boss, complete with the unblockable glitch.
Urien being the final boss makes sense. If this game takes place before SF3, it would a nice set up for his brother. If this game takes place after 3, then Urien could also make sense as he couldâve usurped his brotherâs position. Having said that, Iâm not fond of the idea of 2 naked and VERY similar aesthetically bosses back to back.
SF1 - Naked and bald mountain of muscle in kick boxing shorts
SF2 - THE ULTIMATE FIGHTING GAME VILLAIN EVARR!!! /stan
SF3 - Naked, half ice, half fire, mountain of muscle in a thong.
SF4 - Naked and cybernetically augmented mountain of muscle. No need for under pants at all.

If weâre getting a new boss, make him count. If weâre getting Urien, some reimagination of his art concept maybe in order even though I love the way he looks. Personally, I wouldnât mind dropping the âtournamentâ plot device as a vehicle of bringing all these characters together and just go back to SFA2, where everyone had their own thing going on and their own sub-bosses and boss, some would overlap with others, and some would be very isolated in their stories. SF4 did do a good job with the tournament plot device though, relatively speaking.
Urien at this point can fit the badass villain wannabe like Dictator, we already seen him as normal character and being the bitch of Gill, the last Boss aura is kinda lost (and imho they wasted the opportunity to make him SF3 Boss, Gill was boring)
Btw i hope they do a total new character as Boss, hopefully keeping SF design philosophy, so nothing too try hard edgy like a girl, or some skinny KoF wannabe douche, or aliens, or gods.
Imho for SF Boss best route is go for old school badass, characters like Dictator, Geese Howard, Urien, Rugal and so on
Seth wasânt that bad as boss (on contrary, the concept of a Bison puppet that develop similar megalomania and rebel was nice) as long he got that snob clothes on artwork/animated scenes. He got some Geese arrogant crime lord aura

I feel like if this game canonizes Urienâs Third Strike ending, his command of the Illuminati should be thrown into question. Like, the organization is split on whether he truly deserves to be in control (especially seeing as he ruined their prophecy and killed their messiah [yes, Iâm asking for a not-so-blatant sequel to III]).
From there, work in the kid from Boxerâs IV endings. Years older though, considering the timeline. Late teens, early twenties. The illuminati had bought him from boxer after Sethâs tournament, believing him to be their true savior and trained him for the candidacy of the presidency. Now with the organization split and on the brink of chaos, a faction puts him forth as Gillâs true successor and, I dunno, organizes the tournament to test him and throw out Urien.
âŚYes, the kidâs the final boss. He probably Brollies out into an unstoppable rage monster at the beginning of the match. Uses elements like Gill and Urien since thatâs what the prophecy calls for.
âŚactually that works out better than Iâd hoped, considering the element themed visuals of v-trigger/instinct/EX mode.
âŚOh and Bison finally learns his secret manipulative organization had been secretly manipulated the whole time and, seeing as Shadalooâs done, seeks to make the Illuminati his own.
I just want him to have the Psycho Banish again.
My dream Bison move list would include Final Psycho Crusher, telekinetic normal throws, overhead and Jinâs fireball move from SFxT.
I also really liked the Psycho Punisher, albeit it couldâve been improved gameplay wise but conceptually it was awesome and reminded me of the SF2 Animated Movie.
It will likely be a new boss, however for the love of god please no recycling? Seth recycled Urienâs model and moves and of course a bunch of specials/normals from other characters. Gill recycled some of Urienâs stuff (though to be fair it is impressive that the SF3 series had 2 separate final bosses).

The boss may be the 4th character of the Ken Bogard rumor
It was rumored we will get 4 new char
But are made only 3 names (Rachid, Laura, Zen) and 3 possible countries (North Africa, Brazil, India)
He said that he donât know the 4th, maybe Capcom didânt show it on purpose to avoid leaks on the boss?
So 4 new characters (one being the boss), and 16 total characters. (rumored)
Ryu, Chun Li, Nash, and Bison are aleady in. That means only 8 more spots for returning characters. I think reveal trailers will be linkedâŚBison has a strong connection to Nash obviously. So I think the strong possibilities for the character revealed after Bison are: Vega, Rose, or another doll.
So 16 rumoured returning characters eh? I guess that leaves out a majority of the WW. I see this as the returning cast if 16 is the max for now.

In your list there is no Charlie, no 4 new characters (from the same rumor of 16 char), some very debatable returns, and some very likely returns out 
If we must believe the same source of the number 16 for the cast the situation is
- Ryu
- Chun Li
- Charlie
- Bison
- Rachid
- Laura
- Zen
- ???
From there you have characters with higher chances to be in like example Ken, but also characters that like Charlie missed SF4 but are still very requested/popular like Alex,R.Mika,Urien,Karin and so on
Akuma is another very likely, but hopefully heâs some secret character shit out of basic 16
Basically, if you want trust the â16 charactersâ dude, as now there are still 8 free slots
And to fill it there will be some logic based on many factors (gameplay,popularity,archetypes,story,gender,game origin etcetc)
Example, maybe one or more of them will be in, but i will not hold my breath for characters like Guy, Cody, Rose, Abel, Viper and maybe Makoto⌠and i say it as Cody player that hope a precious slot will not be wasted on some Sakura bs

Anyway, I only put on viper, cody, guy, rose, abel and makoto because they seem to have a decent impact in the community. Abel, Rose and Guy easily have a bigger impact on the shadaloo arc then the other characters. Sakura I threw in there just because Capcom wouldnât do that to the female ryu. (They might wouldnât surprise me nor would it be a loss for me.)
Iâd say Alex, Urien for taking out cody and viper possibly. I dunno. I just hope Juri makes it in. Thatâs my top priority.
