M.Bison General Thread: Come here prepared to fight a madman, and instead you will find a GOD!

Mate, that was sarcasm pointing out it will be used as his forward dash. If that teleport is as fast as seen in the trailer, why would anyone use his forward dash now that we don’t have FA? It will become his forward dash. If his forward dash is not an extreme case like Makoto’s of course.

That’s true. It is **really **fast.

Maybe it will be restricted somehow.

Hopefully they don’t nerf it to Ultra SF4 level.

It wasn’t really a teleport, it just had the ability to cross up if you were close with no invincibility frames.

his moves look like demitri. i always thought demitri was one of those people bison was in the past.

same dash teleport, dark stalkers floor stomp, purple energy. its fucking demitri

actually not sure where i got purple from but they are very similar

I think his teleport is inspired by his MvC teleport where Bison disappeared then several Bisons appeared, but only one was the real one. This is similar in that Bison teleports and appears at more than one location in quick succession to confuse the opponent.

I don’t think they would give us a teleport with almost zero recovery, it would be too good to be true.

when he teleports it has dust smoke from his feet. i think its a demitri dash, bisons fucking dimitri! lol

that would be very interesting if Bison’s dash was a quick teleport that was fully invincible. It’d have to have some amount of recovery though.

Oh my. Well they do make a cute couple.

I highly doubt his teleport is his dash guys. There is still a need for dash in terms of spacing control. For all we know the teleport might be godlike as it appears to be now in the video, but only on forward, and perhaps he can’t back teleport, or it has poor recovery, thereby tipping the scale in favor of offense, while sacrificing defense for balance. I think it will be something to that effect. They wouldn’t give him that much control and not have a downside to it. It’s probably cancelable and this makes it a guessing game which he can be hit out of it, if they guess right, sort of like Decapre now. I can see by the way he moves why it looks like a specialized dash, but I just don’t think Capcom would give him something that ridiculous.

his dash was already really good in 4. Like as good as Balrog, Abel or Chun Li. But I’m really tired of speculating what’s what when it comes to these character reveals. All I know is they spiced up Bison without a doubt.

What if ? Bison can “store” the fireballs for later use instead of reflecting them back immediately ?
Like, Bison absorbs one sonic boom from Charlie, and then choose it fire it back immediately or throw it back later

Is it time to paint the fences yet?

@d3v some of us think that that is his close standing fierce (seen at approx. 49-50 seconds). I wish it’s fence painting…

Yea, it seem that was this

But cancelled

BTW they seem to have took a couple of things from SFxT

New EX scissors

Plus, obvious the ability to send back projectiles was experimented in Omega

Nice catch Cestus about it being canceled, but is it Psycho Banish or is it Standing Fierce or a new command normal that resembles it? It seems redundant to give him the Psycho Reflect for projectiles, and then give him the Psycho Uppercut and Psycho Sphere on top of the Psycho Banish. The latter two are both melee range punch specials.

Well if you wanna be technical, the Ex Scissors originates in SF Ex Plus Alpha and the ability to send back projectiles (and telekinesis, teleports) originally came from here

This scene is actually the first time we were ever introduced to ‘Psycho Power’ AFAIK.

I’d like an offensive teleport. Why does the teleport concept have to remain an evasive maneuver? For “balance” reasons?

If this game is as slow as it might seem to turn out, we’re going to need a lot of teleports in this game. Hell, Charlie even has a shadow dash/teleport tool at his arsenal.

The next best things we got for mobility would probably be jump cancels or something along those lines.

It would be really neat if Bison could place those psycho shots at a distance, like what Jin does with his own move in Street Fighter x Tekken

That’s what I was hoping for to replace the Psycho Crusher, but the Psycho Sphere is still a good deal and has a lot of juggle potential.

Hypnotism was listed as his special skill amongst his SF4 series stats.

What I’d warrant for WTF? is his height and weight (shorter for the first time ever as he’s never been a different height than 182 cm, yet he seems taller than ever especially with his long coat, plus he’s heavier than even during his Zero-series-golden-age-of-psycho-power days).

The stats on the bottom were be more useful if it had numbers on it. A bunch of bars without measured values don’t tell me anything.
