Looks like psycho crusher has two hits. One at the start and a big hitbox right at the end for crossups. I’ve inconsistently managed to have the two hitboxes overlap on some wakeups at weird ranges to get two hits off of it but haven’t found anything useful yet. Seems like it’ll probably always cross up in the corner if you’ve got time. Only thing I’ve been able to combo is super.
Just to have an official discussion regarding it, how are you guys fairing with vt2?
Pros: Command grab you’re plus on after landing, canceling specials with orb for more damage or maintain pressure, psycho crusher can punish ex fireballs, and can tack on combo damage slightly higher than EX variations, only 2 stocks.
Cons: getting hit (including v reversal) dissipates the orb, psycho crusher is at least -8 on block, gives the same Oki a blast does (you have to HP after back roll for meaty.) It always switches sides as well. It could just be because I’m so used to canceling specials but it feels really hard to convert into naturally (the new counterhit combo lp into target combo helps)
What do you guys think, and what set ups are you using?
