Target combo works on counterhit. You need to buffer it after a block string where if they press any button at all, it will be a counter hit. If they dont press, st.mp will wiff and target combo does not come out.
Easiest one is st.mp st.mp st.mp. Buffer the last one into TC.
Why would they press a button? Theres zero reason unless theres no pushback and he can tic off it. Judging a utility of a move by relying on the opponent doing the worst possible thing in that situation isnt a good standard. It wont counterhit because no one will ever push a button.
I was not theory crafting. Multiple opponents pressed buttons after 2x st.mp. Both offline and online. I dont know why they are pressing buttons, but i will take the free damage.
This is a nifty little reset I’ve found, that works in the corner for Lord Bipson.
IMO what make it good is the fact that Bison teleports at the startup of knee press and may confuse wether a dash is next.
The key here is that cancelling into an mk knree press from st.hp make it hit meaty, which gets you a combo after.
It gets better if you confirm a counterhit!
I don’t know what the property is for EX-Peach. It’s a 2~4f trap so I assume the armor didn’t go active yet. The EX-Running Bear gets armor early on too but not immediate; same setup and they get CC’d by Psycho Axe.
Trade combo. Food for thought. I think I kind of have a good grip on his concept. This will lose to MP Shoryuken of course but entertaining nonetheless and some people don’t know better.
After CC.slide I’ve found these CC meaties (against Ryu’s cr.LP):
CC.slide-> slide -> cr.MP -> st.HK
CC.slide-> st.HK -> st.HK (wait some frames)-> psycho axe
edit: nvmnd had on the wrong block option. but yeah trying to figure out block strings that space to make shadow axe connect.
PS you can’t react with Shadow Axe. You can react to the counter hit notification but it’s too late since Axe is so damn slow even if you late cancel the target combo it won’t hit.
Not really tech but damn Bison hits hard. Two wrong guesses and you’re in face fuck city. Whatever his shortcomings at least we finally have some comeback potential.
If you want to try to dizzy them after a jump in VTC then j.hp, cr.hp VTC st.hp xx medium scissors xx ex inferno xx ex stomp is the best damage we can get. It isn’t the best stun we can do, I think for that it’s jump.hp, st.hk VTC st.hk, cr.mp xx lk scissors xx ex inferno xx ex stomp. So if they’re clean on stun bar on a jump in do the combo with cr.hp and follow up with some crossup bullshit. If they do have some stun already built up and you want to dizzy them with the initial jump in, I don’t think we can do better than 620. Maybe someone can find something better. That’s still pretty good though.
From the combo thread:
390 Stun Cammy + VT + Full EX+ CC:
Scissors HK CC > EX Inferno > EX Headpress > J.HP > S.HP > Inferno > EX Headpress = 657 damage
Note that Inferno > EXHP doesn’t work anymore, so we’re losing 4dmg here.
