So they’re giving Luther the ol’ Jack Bauer “Why can’t I retire in peace?!” treatment. Still, I’m more than down for more Luther & Alice.
I’m cool on a US version though, I don’t think it would be as charming. Plus I doubt anyone will top the current Alice. Granted I am curious to see what happened with Luther and Alice. I mean its obvious she is in love with him, and there is no way she could ever leave him alone.

Alice with that heavy stage 5 cling on. They need a spin off with a recuperated and fully insane Marwood going post Punisher and Alice pulling some Black Widow shit to try and stop him. Marwood will always be one of tvs greatest heroes for that close range send of of bitchmade Ripley.
Dang dude, how was Ripley bitch made? If anything that chick who was trying to get Luther for being dirty was the biggest bitch of them all.
He was just a whiny lil pissant whom I celebrated his death with great glee, nigga even gets captured. Gray might have been a bitch (lets face it she was) but she always thought Luther was dirty hence why she did the things she did and was one of those moral folk that thinks law before justice, Ripley was just that lil guy crying in the corner who was a drag.
Dunno how they gonna make Luther this time around but hes that classic already burnt out type character, show has a ton of good characters to side story with.
It’s just a 2 episode special, probably several years after the death of Ripley so we don’t have to deal with mourning Luther
Heck, if the story is ambitious enough, it might not even take place in London. After all, there were quite a few mentions about traveling after he was through with his job.
Well you should check out Dead Set. Warren Brown (Officer Ripley) plays a Jock on the UK Big Brother when a zombie outbreak happens. Basically seeing him get rushed down by zombies is interesting.
But I can’t really say he was whiny though. He was doing his thing. I agree getting captured in the beginning os series 2 was pretty silly because that guy is straight Dan Hibiki tier.
Can’t wait.
Ahh, East London eh. He might’ve taken a sabbatical and now an incident draws him back. I at least hope he did something more fun in the interim.

I’m more worried about Luther gaining new enemies with the British mob than anything else; handcuffing their boss to a radiator overnight will likely not be forgiven.
Luther trying to keep female Justin in check by not letting her carry out her vengeful urges was commendable, albeit hypocritical.
London’s depressing backdrop is so perfect for a crime drama.
