Well, you can’t blame them for choosing what’s popular. If the fans asked for these characters, shouldn’t they be happy enough to get them?

It’s fine, I’m not complaining, Frank/Wright and Doc Oct/Psylocke would be great for me, they would all have very different movesets and assists which in the end is what really matters.
I’ve excepted that I won’t be getting TvC Roll or Q-Bee. Gambit, Venom and Mega Man also could be cool.

Yeah. Oddly enough, I’m really looking forward to trying Psylocke in this game. I don’t know why, I never played her in MVC2, but I think she’ll be an awesome addition.

wasnt surfer ment to be in the game but they dropped him because they didnt want him without his board and they didnt want him standing on it the entire time

I think it could work if he was on the board low to the ground… Shit would look cool and unlike any other character with the right moveset and animations… But meh, I’m just the biggest Surfer fan I’ve ever met and thinks he’s the greatest…Silver Surfer ranks among Spiderman, Hulk, Ironman, Captain America and Thor in terms of importance in the Marvel Universe. And he’s easily the most or second (debatable) most powerful characters from my preceding list. Not fair.
Galactus and no Silver Surfer? UNIVERSAL FAIL. Instead we get silver palette swaps of Wesker , Doom, Akuma, etc. with no cosmic powers, completely lacking of any innovation. And since when have any other Heralds of Galactus been silver? The Silver Surfer alone has a silver appearance, yet he is not in the game. It’s like Capcom gave an enormous, Galactus-sized middle finger to all true Marvel Comics fans. They may as well have included a huge “FUCK YOU” at the ending credits, too.

Surfer without his surfboard is like Spiderman without his web shooter or Wolverine without his claws. He wouldn’t be the Silver Surfer, he will be the Silver Shooter or the Silver Ryu wannabe.
I know…I am trying to figure out if incorporating the board might have caused hit box problems…other than that, I think the excuse was B.S. otherwise… 'Cause I do kinda see how hit box issues could possibly be the culprit.
I never said I subscribed to the idea of putting him in without his board; however, there are ways to implement his surfboard into the proper move set. The Silver Surfer wields the Power Cosmic, not his board. It is imbued throughout his whole body, his board is merely an extension of himself and responds to his thoughts, not dissimilar to how our bodies respond to signals from our brains. The Fantastic Four movie was NOT true to the comics-- the Silver Surfer does NOT receive the P.C. from his board, nor has he ever.
They really could’ve just made the board materialize for some attacks/moves, or a command to make the board appear…I’ve seen it in M.U.G.E.N. 
I guess the developers really don’t know much about Silver Surfer’s comics. Then again, I’m no game developer, just a pissed off SS fanboy…
yea man dont get me wrong tho i do love CapCom and everything about him i mained him in MvC but I’d rather see more new faces in this game if i could help it, I’m sure not everyone thinks the same way but thats how I feel. and I think Vanessa could be that troll character that’s actually good. Think about it this bitch dances around the screen dodging shit and jumping around while spamming projectiles. Give her like a command dodge or something and everytime you get close you miss her and she just continues dancing while in the neutral position. HAHAHHA! that shit would be hilarious, and add much needed entertainment on screen.
I mean just imagine getting OCV’d by a character like her, you’d be mad as hell. She’d add alot of flavor to the game imo. LMAO!
