Lupinko probably got his source blown up. Never saw a more egotistical guy though (I guess that made his information more reliable in the end).
Don’t know but he also leaked MK9 characters as well. So his source is outside of Capcom.

Not sure if you care, but you can go to portforward.com and find a guide for your specific router. Also the ports you need to open are 6000-6009 (UDP) and 7000 (TCP). For the 6000-6009 put 6000 as the enter port, and 6009 as the exit port. Same with 7000 except it is both. Hope this helps
Were you around MVC3 forums before release? You don’t wanna know the state the forums were in when Lupinko leaked everything. It killed hype dead and opened a veritable salt-flood. It was complete shit.
I was, and once again I don’t give a complete shit. I don’t see how knowing who going to be in kills hype, it really should increase it.
Well it didn’t. It killed the forums. It should be obvious why undercutting an actual cinematic reveal that were accompanied with scheduled events and spread over a good amount of time, with a list of text, was the antithesis of hype. We had nothing to look forward to and nothing to talk about except that fucking list. Reveals became a check list and became an inevitable grind towards release. You need a steady stream of information, otherwise people lose interest or get antsy. If simply publishing a list of names created hype then Capcom would do that, but they, as with every company ever, understand that is a terrible marketing strategy. Hence why, S-Kill described the leaks as heartbreaking.

They could subvert the PR cycle themselves by announcing the game closer to release, but it’s kind of a risk, not really Capcom’s style.
the hype for character reveals would of been 10 x it was if we didn’t already know
while it wasn’t dead the suprise of characters that o wasn’t expecting would of been so hype it would of blown up
Man I didn’t see the reveal list for MvC3 and was hype as fuck when I saw them Dante/X-23/Trish/Viper reveal trailers.
I’m pretty sure hype would have not been there, at least not in the same amounts if I had seen the reveal list

I wan Lupinko to say “They are doing something with marvel”. Because right it feels like they are straight up ignoring their own game, they better have something big coming up.
the last truly hype reveal was when we stayed up for…what was it, tron/spidey? and thor/ammy was hype. mags/modok and everything after was just meh

Ehhh, the hype was still there despite the leaks. Honestly, I kidna like that Lupinko spoiled the roster, riding the hype and speculating is tiresome and annoying.
Thor/Ammy reveal was hype but Marvel put up the pictures of them before the announcement. Lol.
The hypest reveal for me was the Mag/Modok/Spencer?(i forget) the day they did 4 reveals.
