Lupinko says there will be a Super MvC3 [rambling and dreams: enter at your own risk]

HAHAHAHA oh man thatd be cheap as fuck

Cable’s got about as much chance of showing up in this game as Batman. I’d give up a week’s pay for them to add Spiral, but that’s even LESS likely

Tbh I found Cable one of the most fun to play chars in MvC2, I wouldn’t mind seeing him back.
Jean was dead for years but that didn’t stop her from making it in MvC3.

On the Marvel side of the roster a lot of character decision will prolly be tied to momentum of certain upcoming movies.

As for Capcom, Strider… (i doubt they wouldn’t deny so much demand)
Other than that bring on some Capcom villians, the game needs 'm
(And yes this is another shameless cry for Sigma

S-Kill said (at the atlanta fight club i believe) that if people really want cable back to bug marvel not capcom; capcom really wanted him in but apparently marvel wouldnt ok it

Right. Comic book fans should just focus on the game itself and not it’s origins. Why anyone would be interested in these characters for any other reason outside of MvC3 is nothing more than absurd. /rolleyes

Seriously, I was hoping I could find some digital issues of Jean’s death on Marvel.com but have only ran into a couple of arcs where she was just becoming Phoenix and then did something awesome like take out Apocalypse. I gave up and paid attention to Rachel for a while.

Marvel is very clearly trying to rid Cable, Gambit and Venom from the memories of the general public… for that reason I am skeptic of the other 2 making it to future MvC games.

^gambit is still active in the comic world, for sure he is making a lots of appearance in the x-23 solo comics right now.

If you were interested you’d know death is a revolving door in the comic realm. Famously so. I don’t care about comparing notes, I was - obviously - referring to posters who questioned certain characters’ inclusion based on their living/death status. Cable’s dead; so what. Jean’s dead-ish; so what. If you weren’t so interested in being sarcastic you’d see I was actually saying a positive statement for people who like those characters. And btw, I’m a comic fan! I would otherwise love to discuss the characters.

So what’s your record distance for jumping the gun?

^And in legacy as well. Trying to please fans I guess. He was absent from everything till X-23 solo and AoX.

Like them with a good Venom in Flash. Or how Wells is making Carnage into a great character.

Eddie Brock is still active as anti-venom, and well eddie is one of those “x-treeeeeeeme” characters who got fleshed out beyond jealous guy on roids and kills people.

Seriously the people demanded venom, gambit, megaman x, and strider. Heck i demand doc oc and frank west “that’s hilarious” now because doc would be a revamped omega red (hoping for german accent) and frank’s summons and easy hit confirms would be welcone additions to the cast.

yeah, I can imagine Doc Ock as an Omega Red clone/derivative in terms of gameplay, with hypers that are ass and whatnot. he’ll probably end up being a battery character if ever. he would be like a cross between omega red and spencer, imo.

IF THIS GUYS SAYS CABLE IS IN IT I AM GOING STRAIGHT TO THE BANK N AM A ROB THEM SON OF BITCHES . MAKE A B’LINE FOR GAMESTOP AND BUY MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3: GREATEST EDITION.

that makes sense because only scrubs love cable

…why would they do that??

i understand that venom was made by the guy that made spawn, but the others i dont get.
is there something wrong with the characters?
it seems like fans fucking love gambit, but i dgaf cuz his gameplay was shitty imo in all the vs. games he was in.

I would rather see him as someone like a cross between Dhalsim and Spiderman, great pokes, recovery is nowhere near as bad as Super Skrull, move around quickly with his tentacles etc.

i can actually see ghost rider acting like omega red a bit with his chains, probably like a hybrid of BH/Omega red.

As for venom. I say anti-venom would be better, i mean he can some old move sets and also new ones; he’s totally recreated! He can have his classic venom suit as an alt.

Why do people want Cable again? AHVB spam was the dullest, least interesting thing in competitive MVC2. Irrelevant as a comic character, boring as a fighting game character.

^ nostalgia cable gave many of the greatest comeback moments in marvel.

first of all ahvb “spam” would be the stupidest thing any cable could do.
you save it for a kill.

second, cable’s gameplay was pretty fucking awesome outside of ahvb anyways.
his screen control was genuinely fun to apply, and absolutely [more than] counter balanced by storm/magneto mobility.

Cable was the X factor of MVC2. Catch 2 characters in AHVB, rinse, repeat.

You know what I meant so don’t be obstinate. It was a hyper that linked into itself. If you had meter you got a stooopid easy %100.
