Lupinko says there will be a Super MvC3 [rambling and dreams: enter at your own risk]

THAT’S A LIE AND YOU KNOW IT!!!

pre release mvc3 forum bros represent

Yeah I’m not staying up again waiting for crap either. I actually managed to fix my sleep schedule.

The Japan gaming market isn’t as big of a deal as the worldwide market. It’s still important but it’s a strong strategy to get the game out and selling before the MK hype kicks in. I can almost guarantee you Capcom USA was thinking hard about it and I’m sure they talked with Japan.

Hyper MVC3: Fate of New Infinites

Needs more sexy victory animations for the female cast.

I think it was pushed out the door early to make Capcom’s report for the previous fiscal year look better. We’re in the early new year now.

I think people are giving Capcom too much credit saying the product was rushed out the door. MvC3’s sales projections were out a long time before the game released, they just didn’t do a very good job putting it together.

Because they totally didn’t pump out a new marvel fighter every year from 94 to 98

Because that’s what SRK is all about.

At least they were sequels, but for your knowledge I didn’t buy a single VS. game from XvSF to MvC2.

That’s almost semantics… I mean did MSHvSF *have *to be called “XvSF: Hyper Edition” to convince you that it was in fact an update? What makes a sequel a sequel and not an update?

A new Darkstalkers is never going to happen at this point.

give her a better air dash (longer range and slightly faster), let her throw projectiles in the air, if no, then make it so that all her projectiles dizzy people…oh and give her a Level 3 super. if they want to do away with her armored super, then how about put in something similar to Felicia’s kitty helper super but have Hsienko’s sister take form and assist her.

Well, again, I didn’t buy it, because it was indeed more of the same.

The reason I’m harder on the Vs. is because, at least when SF updates itself, you know, it’s expected and it’s stated explicitly that it’s an update.

Vs. Series, when the sequels look like updates, I don’t get them, because it shows they half assed it (and pretty much did…every single game after XvSF…we just got lucky on MvC2).

Besides, again, SMvC3 will also have shit netcode, which is why I wasn’t going to buy it REGARDLESS of name.

Either is a console version of Virtua Fighter :[

Well okay. Hopefully the netcode gets better, and spectator feed comes around. And replays. And Cammy. And Sakura.

And yada yada…

I really really really really hope its a troll.

They updated the game for a reason.

They would need to make Trish’s hands smaller.

Also I think we can all agree on this. If the button configuration in SMvC3 isn’t (finally) changed to the button config as seen in HD Remix or BB:CS then someone at Capcom needs to get punched.

Wow, I’ve been thinking the exact same thing.

Also, in regards to a “Super” MvC3… honestly, it was expected. I mean, if they did it with TvC from CGoH to UAS, I don’t see a how a similar update to Marvel 3 would be any more of a shock to anyone. Especially considering its a) Capcom and b) the same guy who made TvC making this game.

But whatever, I’m excited for new content. I just wonder if Capcom will make it an update via DLC (like SSFIV AE) or it’s own standalone, disc based requel like… SSFIV.

Hm, this is interesting. I’m not gonna too sure it will be a “Super” MvC3. I personally think they should just move it on up to MvC4, if they can. I don’t know much about Lupinko, but the reputation definitely precedes itself with accuracy.

Anyway, I will definitely admit and wear my Scrub cap for MvC3, because I don’t see myself getting any better at this game, as it just frustrates and annoys me after a while from earlier issues I expressed. But despite that, there is a trend I have observed over the past few weeks, that’s been kinda rapidly going. There have been a LOT of people whom have done a 180 with their love of this game. I have seen and read many a-posts of people whom were once loving this game and defending Capcom making the game as it is, to now switching it up and either admitting the game is full-o-crap, or just not caring anymore – kinda like MSHvSF, which a lot of people deemed “boring.”

I dunno if it will be a Super MvC3, or hopefully just a redone and actually new game, with more traditional Marvel play mechanics instead of TvC mechanics. From what I’m seeing now, that may be more well received than just expanding on MvC3 as it is…a lot of people are not happy [anymore].

…or maybe they’re just gonna fix the netcode…I dunno.

Not front page worthy? Interesting.
