Ive been eagerly waiting for this game since it was announced, absolutely loved the PSP title. Im a bit bummed at the price but that wont stop me from probably buying the game with the optional add-on.
Anybody else been looking forward to this?
This game is fucking expensive

then you have to buy packs… HAVE to… which aren’t available yet.
You beat level one on base… and you have to buy the other packs to move on lol… and once you beat base you can buy advance. I’m not sure on the details but the game kept asking me to buy shit… can you believe that? heh

if you buy the advance pack, I think it includes everything. I think its still cheaper than the PSP one, isnt it? I was gonna get it tonight.
wow you gotta keep buying just to continue playing the harder levels?? I dunno if i’m gonna dl this now. Maybe they’ll change the price since a lot of people don’t like what they did.
With the normal game you can still play challenge mode, XBL Vs and time trial mode. The add-on to the best of my knowledge will have some extra music and skins, Vs Cpu and a different variation to the challenge mode.
I think it would be easy to get by on just the base pack. You have pretty much most of the options the PSP version had, minus the Vs Cpu mode.
I was a little upset about the price, but I quite like Lumines so it didnt take me long to decide I’ll part with points for both downloads. I just hope they release the add-on soon.
Ok, I got this game and I think its worth it. I don’t know if I’d buy the expansion packs later, but I was playing this game for like an hour and a half, and didn’t even realize I was playing it for that long. I think its a great game.
Glad you like it FC. I’ve just bought the expansion pack, theres a whole load of new skins and videos for the challenge mode, I couldnt even get a round lap of the skins there was so many. Id recommend the extra pack for anyone thats enjoying the game.
Buuuuut. Yep theres a bad point coming up. There is still no Vs CPU with this advanced pack, so I guess they will also be releasing that seperately. Seems a bit greedy to me, even tho it still doesnt equate to the price of the PSP version. Im not sure if the Vs CPU mode will be worth parting with points for, unless it has other extra’s included. But the advanced pack which is available now, Id definitely recommend to anyone who likes the game.
The weirdest thing just happened to me as I was playing Lumines. I get a friend request from some random player, he sends me a message asking to speak. So we speak, and he asks me if I can complete Lumines for him if he gives me his account information! This guy has a GS of like 50K+ for the record.
Since Im a nerd and I like the thought of people thinking Im badass at games I accept. So he gives me his email and password and I retreive his account onto my console and get started. Takes me roughly an hour or so and Ive unlocked all achievments for him.

You wouldnt have thought people would care that much about a measly 200 gamerpoints, but obviously they do. And now I have the achievement point whore squad on my case… Lol.
I got a message asking me to do that for SFII two nights ago.
About account recovering, there was a funny (and true) story doing the rounds about a month ago - the top Australian guy on Xbox Live, OZ HUNTER 69, offered to complete achievements for other people, took their account, then changed the password and didn’t give the account back. He then changes the motto on the other guy’s account to “SUCKER!!!”, sends abusive messages to all this guy’s friends and rings up shit loads of charges on Marketplace on his credit card too lol
Kneel, I sucketh all the ass at Lumines but would like to play you at Lumines, to see someone good in action. And, of course, to help maintain the illusion that you’re badass at games lol
