West - High school graduation, me and a bunch of friends skipped and went to Carowinds. College graduation I skipped and drove to ATL for a tournament. But that’s just me. I hate ceremonies for anything. :tup:

Can’t wait for this. I’m so hyped up for it. May has a lot of stuff going on for me and I’m definitely glad I can make it out for this. I took off the Friday before the tournament (for practice), Saturday and Sunday that way I have practice on Friday, tournament Saturday and since it’s like a 2-3 hour drive from where I’m at and I expect to leave late on Saturday gives me time to sleep in on Sunday so basically a weekend of no work for me.
Screw studying, who studies anymore?
I’m always in a money match of some sort at like every tournament. Maybe I’ll do some afterwards, but I want to focus on the actual tournament first before doing anything else.
Unless something gets in the way, this will definitely my first tournament ever. At first I figured I should stick with pad but I think that’ll hinder my progression on a stick which I’ve been putting so much time on. So even if I’m still better on a pad by then I think I’ll just play with my stick anyways. Hopefully it’ll be a good learning experience.
But anyways my cousin is coming with me and he wants to enter SSF4 as well. The thing is he’s a complete scrub(picks Ken, does a lot of fierce SRK’s). I warned him about how the comp may be like but he doesn’t care and wants to enter just for the hell of it. Well that’s just more money into the pot so hopefully nobody gives him a hard time LOL.
If anything it could be an eye opener for him that playing people with experience you can’t do certain things.
You know… It’s been a while since I’ve been to Lucky’s.
Don’t get the wrong idea, he knows he’ll be completely free to whoever he faces. He just wants to enter for fun. Maybe the tourney experience will get him more interested in improving, but then again he doesn’t even own a 360/PS3. He does own a Wii and TVC, but for some reason he doesn’t want to enter that tourney, oh well.
I also have a guy(who has some other SF4 buddies) from Statesville on my friends list. Maybe they’ll come as well, so that could be 5+ additional players including me.
