No. Nearly everyone I know has Gouki/Gouken unlocked but not Seth, and don’t plan on unlocking him.

Assuming the tournament finishes in time I think this is a great idea also. Even if the movie is horrible if we all saw it together we could just make fun of it until we got kicked out or something.
So I gave out a shitload of Lucky’s business cards with tournament info at the two biggest Gamestop tournaments here today. I talked to a lot of people so hopefully some new players will show.
Every character in SF4 will be allowed. There is no logical reason to ban Seth. The fact that someone believes he is boring or takes long too unlock does not equate to a logical reason for a ban.
I’m going to try to have a few stations for SF4 casuals all day.

For those who are interested in playing or even wanting to buy F/UC I will be bringing my JP PS2 and T.V. specifically for Fate/Unlimited Codes for play all day. I’ll try and set it up somewhere out of the way from the other tournaments/stations. Also I’m putting the game up for sale for $40.00 (near perfect condition) on a “first come first serve” basis, so if you’re interested in buying the game and if you have the money either hit up this thread or NC thread.
Also…PS3 White HRAP up for sale. Since I’m already getting a custom on the way and I have a pelican on hand I won’t need two sticks in my hands so I’m putting this up for $80.

Somehow I get the feeling every TV is going to be set on SF4.
SC4 and SF4. There won’t be time to run anything else- maybe GG, that’s it.
I’m serious. SC4 has to be first priority as it’s their regional.
I’d rather put off the MM until later due to it being so busy/huge- on top of time issues. I really think Lucky’s is going to end up seriously and masively overcrowded- for real. Can Lucky’s handle 70-80 people at one time?
Right now SF4 is the priority since the guys running SC4 haven’t said shit about their tournament. I really think they’re just planning on showing up and using whatever is there to run the tournament.

Also, if you want to make rules on which tournaments get run, then I would suggest running your own tournament.
So I’m guessing that HD Remix and CvS2 are highly unlikely to get enough entrants to be run???

Again, Seth/Gouken are allowed in SF4, along with everyone else.
Lucky will not close until we are finished and will accommodate us with whatever space we need. The SC4 qualifier is going to be in a slightly separate area of the store.
The only reason a tournament may be canceled is if it gets less than 8 entries, which I don’t really foresee happening with any of the games.
I’ll post up a schedule tomorrow. Registration times and sign up times will be strictly enforced due to the expected number of players. I’m really thinking that time won’t be an issue given everyone brings the PS3s that they say they are.
The only problem with Seth is going to be the matter of who has him unlocked. I know for sure I won’t have him available on my console; I’ll be struggling for the rest of the unlockable characters before this weekend.
While PS3 is considered tournament standard, should anyone with an available 360 and two sticks bring them to help out? If so, I can bring my system and TV to help out.
Like I said before, I can be a substitute for Arstal as long as I get play on a stick…

I’m 100% bringing my PS3 and LCD since my brother’s taking me and we’ll have space. His birthday was yesterday, but we should celebrate it with the other birthdays.
Sounds like we’ll have most of Lucky’s this time for the tourney, we usually have roughly half of the store. If we can use that much, it won’t be a problem.
