I have a feeling that the OP, who owns a PS3 and already resolved his HRAP3 issue in this thread in January, isn’t in the market for a 360 stick that sold out a long time ago and is not available anywhere.
bumping an old topic cuz i came across this posted on another forum.

apparently you can install a LS-32-01 onto HRAP3 by filing down the LS-32-01 and refit it with a Seimitsu RE (flat) plate. with this done, you can then mount the modified LS-32-01 onto the stock HRAP3 plate with a set of shorter screws.
has anyone tried this before? this looks to be a better looking solution to drilling holes on the plate.
Sorry for bumping this old thread again but this is exactly what I am trying to do. Can someone help out. May be a tutorial in english and pictures.
Thanks
You can modify the JLF-CD joystick shaft to fit the LS-32. You have to thin it by half from inside out… Round coarse files work best for this. Others have modded PVC piping for this but I don’t think that thin diameter piping is sold in the US. Never have seen it in stores and frankly don’t want to order 10 feet of it online to cut off 3-inch pieces.
It takes 30 minutes to 70 minutes to mod a JLF-CD shaft. After thinning it out, you have to shave off roughly 3/16 of an inch from the top of the JLF-CD cover to fit the LS-32 shaft – the JLF shaft is taller than the LS-32. Done this mod twice myself and it fits the LS-32 reasonably well and protects it from moisture/liquid spills and sweat. Kind of a tight fit, yes, but it works!
JLF-CD’s only come in black plastic but that’s generally the best color for shaft covers at any rate. Goes well with any color scheme for buttons and faceplate art.
I like the idea of buying the LS-56-01 better (for non-Seimitsu HRAPs)! After I heard it basically fits into the existing JLF threads (in HRAP and T5 faceplates) with little modding, I’ve thought about getting one next year just to see how it feels in the old Tekken 5 base.
