I have bought a used Seimitsu LS-32-01 from a friend and everything looks ok, except for the main gate and dark blue gate, they just look different.
I thought could be fake at first, then i checked…pcb has “LS-32-02” placed, micros are the same as my original LS-40 and everything looks fine.
But the sub-gate is smaller and has “seimitsu” wrote on it, the main gate has different screw holes.
The color of everything matches original seimitsu, i know zippy has different gates colors.
I googled some pics but didn’t find any clue. I’ll be glad to see any info about it, thanks a lot.
It’s normal. There’s a reason why they are different as a LS40 is a different stick from a LS-32-01. If they sold both sticks as the same why would there be a point in different variations and preference it’s completely normal you have no worries.
As I already told somebody by email - Seimitsu did some minor changes to some of their sticks at the beginning of 2011. Feel free to call these changes improvements or a loss, but it’s still a Seimitsu
It looks a lot different, but from what I can see it looks like an improvement. The blue subguide on mine looks like shit. The old light blue gate on mine looks like you could turn it 45 degrees to screw in to make the gate diamond shaped for 4 way, but it kind of pointless when you have a better shaped 4 way gate on the dark blue subguide.
Only thing looks different to me is the quality of the plastic the old age of mine it looks sorta bent and the size. I have never really seen this to be sure all my seimitsu sticks look the same from 2011 so far. Maybe i need to take a good look at the one in my cab. But my seimitsu stick doesn’t say seimitsu on it and it’s smaller in terms of bulkiness and size.
