I have a question - when you say Doom and Blackheart whoring, do you mean overall, or where the players abusing these characters on the same team, or separately?

Also did you happen to see any lesser used characters? Like Hayato, Zangief, etc?

That’s not too bad. Wish I could see a really good Zangief or Spiderman, though. Umm, besides the fact that their upper tier, why did people use Doom and Blackheart so much? Did they really believe they would increase their chances for victory without the precense of the big four? Or is it just, “Screw diversity, the big the four aren’t here, I’ll just use the next best thing.”

Have you really not played against Doom/Blackheart or Blackheart/Doom? I realize most of the good Blackheart players are hard to find, but … you’ll learn eventually, I guess. =\

I have not planned for Evo this year, but I am already setting things in motion for next year. I’ll be going to Florida a bit to visit my fiance (I may or may not stop by any arcade scene near Tampa given the reason of my visit), so most I think I’m doing this year is hitting local tourneys as well as neighboring states’ tourneys (just recently being NC for 3rd strike…those guys are so much fun to play 3rd with). I think it smart for any competitive gamer to start local 1st and then move outwards in order to build that much necessary experience (and possibly make future trips more profitable ).

How about yourself? You aren’t too far from it, so I take it that’s convenient.

Haha, I was wondering how he played his Cyc/Gam/Mor team =) JustinW pretty much relies on defense and turtling. He doesn’t so much as chase or ‘rush down’ here, but pretty much spams safe moves and capitalizes on your mistakes via not blocking or a hole in your offense. He also has pretty solid fullscreen DHCs b/w each cast. Basic, smart, and obviously effective.

Just curious, why are you blocking his Cyc at the beginning of the match when you are starting Cammy?
