ON/OFF topic, you mention slide method. I havent been able to find a reliable way to do ex hands with slide. Wondering if you can advise?
Yes, I am begginig to think pad > stick for hand combos. So mad props yo.
I mean one day I piano like a champ, the next it falls completely off the map. shrug , With slide just need to make sure the fingers are adequately …smooth. Henry C put tape around his fingers, should try that too.
The methods I used are weird, I guess. Slide methods for EX hands I used required the 3P button to be enabled and most of them are with the plate of the nail so no need for “lubrication” there. I felt really comfortable with them. All on stick:
1- Piano LP/LK/MK into HP hands(LP/LP+LK/LP+MK - HP - MP - LP - HP like Mr. SNK does): Required constant practice, not because I missed them or not but because of the CONFIDENCE factor. That’s half the battle(you know, like knowing) and if you’re not confident in your piano skills, you’re not going to get the correct input often. I used this method all the time when I was playing last year and the year before. Only use it casually now(I hardly play anymore), altho I still used to do the motion between rounds, before the beginning of a fight and stuff.
2- Piano/slide LP into HP hands (LP w/index - MP w/middle - LP-MP-HP slide w/index): this is the method I used the most for c.LP into HP hands because is the method I failed the least back when I tried to play again. I can go all the way into the 3P button and it won’t matter since the 5th input will always be HP. Also for hit confirms(c.LK, c.LP xx hands etc).
3- Slide LP into HP hands(LP-MP-LP-MP-HP w/plate of the nail of the index finger like a claw): only after jumpins that I knew landed/hit, if I wanted to be really sure and the previous method was failing me too. Otherwise I didn’t really use it. It was the backup of my backup.
4- Slide c.LK/c.MK into HP hands(LK/MK w/thumb - HP-MP-LP-MP-HP w/plate of the nail of the middle finger like a claw): c.MK for punishes, c.LK for hit confirms(c.LK, c.LK xx hands etc) or after a crossup.
5- Slide c.LP into EX hands(LP w/middle - LP-MP-HP-3P slide w/index): for hit confirms(c.LK, c.LP into EX hands) and for extended hands combos(EX hands into c.LP xx EX hands).
6- Slide c.LK/c.MK into EX hands(LK/MK w/thumb - MP-LP-MP-HP-3P w/plate of the nail of the middle finger like a claw): for punishes purposes.
7- Slide c.MK into MP hands(MK w/thumb - MP-HP-3P-HP-MP w/plate of the nail of the index finger like a claw): for punishes purposes and max damage without meter since now in AE MP hands does more damage than HP hands. Also for comboing into Ultra 1.
8- After HP hands, if I wanted to do another HP hands I slid HP-MP-LP-MP-HP w/plate of the nail of the middle finger like a claw.
9- After HP hands, if I wanted to do EX hands(jewelman’s combos) I slid MP-LP-MP-HP-3P w/plate of the nail of the middle finger like a claw.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE - In the combo into ultra 1 videos(#1 HERE and #2 HERE) I use ALL of the above, you can tell each and every one if you look at the inputs.

Really have your pork chop AA down it seems. Sak’s jump height makes any easier?
Sak’s jump Rh is one of the hardest air normals in the game to AA cleanly with the chop.
