Dorm’s looking nice. I love how tall he is. Him and other characters like the hulk, Ammy and joe break the molds visually and i like that.
I think its pretty obvious that Dormammu is supposed to be similar to blackheart. really Tall? check. Eldrich abomination? check. Inferno? check. trap character? checkity check check check.
obviously he’ll play differently, but he’s looking like a good, blackheart inspired trap character. I like that.
and his VA is, aside from deadpool’s, the absolute best I’ve heard so far. Menacing, but not over the top and silly about it.

Lol, I know what you mean, I can’t explain it, but there is something so cool about him being so tall. A dark force that towers over you… its intimidating.
What I’m most happy about? He’s like the only new character to call out thr name of his attacks! “Burn to cinder… CHAOTIC FLAME!” and he said “(something) bomb” during his Dark Angel type super thing. Effing sweet.

I don’t think we’ll have a lot of problems with that… he’s tall, but not HUGE. Think of it like Seth in SSF4. he doesn’t have a lot of trouble with that sort of stuff.
Sounds to me like he says “Burn this shit, HEALING FLAME!” and “FLOATING BALL!”

Guys, I downloaded the 60 fps trailer and I have semi-bad news: That thingy against chris wasn’t a counter. He simply BLOCKED chris’ attack (and that huge red block armor, that he always has when he blocks, showed up) then the trailer cut to him doing this weird BURST-like move against Ryu.
There is no counter.
Yep, although that PBAoE knockback thing looks pretty interesting, and does combo directly into super.
Another thing, about that Dante “tech roll” “combo” that jumps the clock from 74-73 in less than a second
I think I understand why they did that, that super is a fireball similar to Dhalsim’s U1 (not as slow) but for trailer length and pacing reasons, they cut off the part where the ball is supposed to be traveling the screen to make it seem faster. (they also cut a bit before Dante hits the ground)
Yeah, you can also see the combo counter vanish before the fireball hits.
That move actually looks kinda meh, if it travels full screen in ~1 second, it’s too fast to have the uses of Aegis or Dhalsim’s ball, but too slow to be a really threatening projectile unless it can eat through a lot of other stuff on screen.
if it eats through Chris Redfields’ bullshit objects it’s good. If it eats Trish Traps, yummy.
something tells me the full screen flame super will be more useful than the fireball super. just because of all the space it consumes in comparison. if the fireball will eat chris and trish’s stuff so will the flame beam thing.
you’ll probably recover instantly like Dhalsim’s ultra and instead of 5 hits you get 20.
It’ll probably be useful do DHC out of so that a rushdown character can make good use of it.
It’s cool, DDD is big enough for the both of us.
On another note, is it just me or does that horizontal flame super have little to no start up time. If Capcom keeps it as is, then this move could be like the AHVB or ChunLi’s kick super from XvsSF.

I thought chaos flame or whatever its called did about 10-20 hits? i know the floating ball did 20. and youre right about the DHC… maybe thor’s ground shockwave thing (I need to learn the names of all these moves) then rush in…
im loving the way my team is shaping up. dormammu and thor are pretty badass. and whoever made that comment about adding ammaterasu and having team god… sounds appealing
