Just personal opinion, and because Venom and Faust were crazy good in it.
Oh I actually do think Reload was a better game, I’m just saying AC was more balanced overall because of the absence of any arguably broken characters like Eddie, and to some people Slayer. And oddly enough I love Venom and Faust in Reload too.

One interesting thing is that his purple dart that causes wallbounce is a command normal, toward+C. It easily combos into Chaotic Flames in a different video.

Dorm looks like he has a lot of potential to me on point. He’s a big target but between teleport/8-way air dash he seems like he has some decent spacing; he just needs a nice gap-filling cover assist to help him charge up his hands and safely fire up Dark Hole. (Doom, that’s all you, buddy…) It will be interesting to see more of how his normals synergize with special cancel and his air dash to handle poking and pressure. (Do 8-way air dashes still count as special moves for cancellation purposes?)
Once we get a better look at his assists it will be easier to consider what role he ought to play in team composition.
As far as assists go I think they’ve showed the black hole move the the Blackheart pillar type move, but I wouldn’t quote me on that.
