Just looks to me like an amazing shoryu with comboabilty. Probably mad unsafe but that’s what assists are for.
If so its very very super-cancellable. Probably have to wait and see >>
I suspect that that first video is from a substantially earlier version of the character than the one in the otehr 2 also.
I hope we get to use another form of him!
Very Very what?
super-cancellable
otehr 2
English Please!
Probably more trolling, but just in case: Super cancellable means you can cancel the move into a super move. otehr 2 is probably a typo for other 2, referring to the other gameplay videos we’ve seen.
Yeah just about, housesitting for a friend and drunk on his vodka, the typing suffers some
Also the PC I’m using is a 5 year old piece of crap dell notebook. That doesnt’ help.
Off topic
Super Cancel-able is hyphenated. FYI
Yeah…
Nobody cares. If its understood, its understood. Thanks for derailing though.
Changing channels here a bit, with Niitsuma saying Dante was the most ‘Complete’ character so far, does that mean we should expect ‘complex’ characters, like Dorm, to be just as crazy? They obviously cant make Ryu have tons of stuff like Dante has, but it seems possible for Dorm to have TONS of random things in his arsenal. I’m looking forward to the finished product, power ups have major potential.
The idea is to make everyone seem absurdly overpowered, creating balance of everyone’s broken.
I don’t know about that. If Dante is the most complete, Ryu probably has some new tools coming his way.
The more technical way of saying this would be that they want to give the characters alot of decent options since that’s what basically divided the cast in MvC2.
But yeah, it’s basically a break everyone situation.
I was always a fan of Guilty Gear balancing methods.
I was always a fan of anyone being able to destroy everyone.
In other news, UGHHHHHHHH big purple swirly ball.
I’m looking forward to trying this character, hopefully he’ll be playable at London MCM Expo…

I had a new thought for something I want to try with him by the way, its like a version of the yoga catastrophe thing:
Floating bomb (maybe KFC if recovery is too long) > teleport >floating bomb from the other side.
Something I thought of just now (based on the above).
Its hard to tell, but it looks from the videos that if he did a max-range floating bomb, he could auto combo into Chaotic flames (His other hyper) or maybe even Teleport > Launch.
That would be somewhere between awesome and retarded.
Dormammu is going to be a monster with some good trapping assists.
Same. Reload should be the measuring stick of balance for all fighting games.
^I would say AC is a better bet for balancing personally, sure AC Eddie and Testament a really really good, but they don’t compare to the monstrosity that is Reload Eddie, who is just leagues ahead of everyone else. But minus Eddie, I would agree with that statement.
Of course thats just my opinion, and you could definitely make a case for Reload.
