At random intervals.
Those trailers were put on youtube in March 9th and I hadn’t seen them. That means they aren’t doing a great job advertising. Maybe they should’ve been using Evo to show the full character trailers instead of the combination thing they have going on right now.
SRK doesn’t mention it, iplaywinner’s article was that they would announce characters in march but no article on the actual characters when march hits.
So I guess if I’m not on eventhubs or spending my days on twitter, I wasn’t going to find out.
That probably means they need to get better at communicating. One of those trailers only has 9k views. No way it should be that low.

Granblue is a very progressive title, it makes tons of cute waifus for the male audience and also cute husbandos for the female audience.

I’d pick up Granblue, but I don’t have a PS4 yet. I’ll pick one up when the price goes rock-bottom in the wake of the PS5 announcement. I imagine the LoL fighting game will at least have a PC presence.
We don’t have a lot ot talk about it other than “please release now.”
There’s a bunch of us that would rather be playing that than SF5.
But this is still the SF5 general in a website dedicated to Capcom games. How much is there to discuss on a game we can’t play right now? It’d all be speculation.

Seconding the lackluster PR tho. The trailers should drop like bombs in events, for example, the latest one should’ve been on the Main Stage at Sunday or peppered throughout all streams.
Game is sadly niche enough in the west, if no real advertisement is done for it, it might not reach expectations.

The official Ladiva trailer has over 300k views.
The official Lowain trailer has over 200k views.
Also who is to say the intervals have been random? The Ladiva trailer was announced the week before the Daigo vs. Fuudo exhibition to hype it up.
The Lowain trailers was launched during a 4 hour live stream event from Cygames.
Communication could be better, but you also don’t need to make stuff up to fit the narrative you created in your head.

I am not the one who blew a fuse because someone pointed out hypocrisy of the situation.
Also the latest trailer dropped to announce their weekend events, one at evo and one in Japan. The Japanese event dropped a release date, a very robust single player mode, roster size, and pricing.
They are still having a big announcement at evo today. Getting main stage time without a mainstage game is not going to happen though.

I might, but by the Cannons’ own admission, they’re still a couple of years from showing anything off.
So we’ll just wait on that and then get hype when GBV gets released next year. 2020 release sucks ass though, should’ve been dropped for holidays.

Probably the problem. GranBlue is a massive property in Japan, right? that’s gonna lead to a weird communication gap.
I’ll keep in an eye out though. I liked the game a fuckload from what I played. Enough to want to put up with the wack ass delay netcode. It just doesn’t feel like its getting as much advertising in the west. Think I’ve seen the ad for that mobile fighting game that has JWong in the trailer than GBV.
