Looks like a Inpin, doesn't play like one

I got this converter when u bought my ps3 off of a friend. I was looking up the Inpin today because the converter in question has input lag. So i look up the Inpin, and it looks just like the converter I’m using now?
I have only tested this converter out on STHD with a T5(US) stick. can someone tell me if Inpin works fine with STHD, and maybe clarify that my converter may just be a knock off? (it does say made in China on the back)

My Inpin just came in from Laugh. He’s a awesome guy. Looking at it right now.

Inpin’s have a grooved section on the top section right above where u stick in your controller. I think its for putting your thumb on when u pull it out. Its actually real ergonomic. Also has the 1-4 labels above the red lights instead of on the bottom and a button on the side labeled “PS”. And of course no Lag. Tested on STHD with a stick with PS1 Digital PCB.

From your picture I think you might have a knockoff. My Inpin does also say Made in China.

this is why i order straight from the source (laugh). to avoid silly things like this.

no hassle is worth my money.

it looks like you may have the asid converter which was sold at fry’s and other stores… it looks identical or almost identical to the inpins… asid has a little thing on the middle of the cord where inpin does not and also has the ps button on the side and should not have input lag at all but the asid has input signal drop if you hold the left direction for more than 7 sec. Inpins are perfect.

cool thanks alot. yeah i didn’t buy this converter, it was given to me, so no lose. I’m in the porcess of ordering a Inpin from laugh right now.

EB games had that converter when the PS3 was released. My friend got one so I was surprised when my Inpin came in from Laugh when they looked the same but the InPin is much better.
