Hey all, I live in Goleta up in Santa Barbara.
I couldn’t help but notice how awful the online functionality is for MvC3, and I am sure you have too.
So I would like to organize some kind of MvC3 scene for any body who plays in the area.

I am pretty good at fighting games but not so great at MvC3. I wasn’t a big MvC2 player at all but I am very interested in this game.
I can do basic launcher to aerial rave combos but I am not great at setting them up
I am the kind of player who is happy to get stomped repeatedly as long as I am learning / improving.
If you have a group of pros that want to beat on me, that’s just fine. I really want to learn the game and it seems almost impossible online.
Goleta? are you a part of/know of Tom and Mark’s crew? they’re twins. they have a whole group of guys who play
Nope, I am not too patched in to the fighting game community around here. If you could get us in contact, I would love to organize something. I have a pretty mobile 360 Setup and several joysticks so I am ready to go.

Regarding the MvC3 tournament. I think there might be one in San Luis Obispo in March and another one in Santa Barbara in April. I’ll keep you posted.

I know the real secret. We were training for that SB/Goleta SSF4/MvC3 Major, where our crew planned to devastate the competition…but there isn’t one.
We really need to try to get all of the people who would possibly play fighting games in SB/Goleta to start playing, it would be a lot of fun!
